I liked this hotel, friendly staff all round with English speaking staff at the reception.

It was a good value for money. The view was also very satisfying with the sea view. It was old because it was an old building, but I could feel the old beauty of Japan. Best!

Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the JR train station to the hotel. It is easy to find the hotel. There are many local buses at the hotel gate, which is convenient for travel. The Japanese-style room exudes the fragrance of straw mats. The hot spring pool is very comfortable both indoors and outdoors, but the men's and women's baths are not changed in the morning and evening. I didn't have dinner in the hotel this time. In the morning, I had a traditional Japanese breakfast, not a buffet. It was delicious... There is a famous Nagasu-ya restaurant with tiled soba nearby. I personally don't recommend it. Facing the left hand direction of the road, there is a relatively large 7-11 convenience store not far away.

Old-fashioned business hotel. There is no rice shop in the neighborhood, but there is no problem because there are supermarkets and drugstores. There is also a microwave oven on each floor, so it is very good. Also, there is a large parking lot (plane), so even a little big car is no problem.

It was an inn like a model of hospitality from picking up to sending. The customer service was very pleasant. I realized that the impression of the inn was ”person”. The room and bath were clean and nice, the interior of the restaurant was sophisticated and the drinks were substantial. I am surprised by the type of breakfast! It seems to be a bakery only in the bread corner. It was only 1 nights but I was able to relax from my heart. It is a very good inn. It is Lipi determination.

JR car walk to the hotel is only 10~15 minutes, so easy to find. The main entrance is facing the traffic light. It has a 300-year history, so traditional style. In the lobby, you must change indoor slippers first, and when you go out, the waiter will immediately take out the guests' shoes to replace you. The whole building has been appreciated. Value, there is an orthodox Japanese garden, there are a lot of koi fish in the pool, and you can see the maple leaves. We can enjoy the garden on the terrace of our room. The bathroom in the room has a wooden bathtub. Dinner and breakfast are eaten in the room ... Our housekeeper is very professional, Also introduced a variety of food ... and free beer, Coke is provided. There is electric heating in the central location of the room, thick quilt and heating ... But leaving this fan will be very cold ... This is the old building. At that time, the technology was not so advanced. The hot spring pool is not big, but there are two in the wind. Located in the middle of Yamaguchi city, it was great to explore Yamaguchi. Breakfast was also very clean in Japanese home style. It was very convenient to rent a bicycle for free.
