The service is good. I asked if I would like to help us with our luggage or send me to the airport. A welcome drink is also provided. It does feel like a high-end hotel. In addition, they can do valet parking, just park the car next to the hotel and find their staff.

Every hotel staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. We received welcome snacks snd message in the room. The room was modern with air condition, high ceiling and nice amenities. Breakfast was buffet-style as and adequate. Location is very close to many shops and restaurants but without the noise. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage at their spa.
Enhancement areas suggested for Room 11: shower door does not close; the queen bed was two separate single beds put together instead of one mattress, and with separate bedcover sheets instead of one queen sized bedcover sheet; a kettle would have been useful.

The location of the hotel is definitely very good and a plus point.
We were greeted in a friendly manner and the lady at the bar gave us a welcome drink. The hotel looks quite high-quality at the entrance and you feel like you're in good hands. I would say it's not 5-star level, but around 3.5-4 absolutely.
The room we were given unfortunately had no windows (the description said there was one). No problem for us. Our biggest criticism is that there was no door in the shower because it had been removed. So you couldn't shower properly without water spraying outside. When we told reception, they just said ”we didn't know” and preferred to answer the ringing phone and leave the guest standing there. Who would know if not the hotel, so unfortunately it's far from 5-star service. We expected a small apology and that the problem would be taken care of. I think it's a real shame that you pay so much money and then get a room that doesn't meet the standard and isn't really at the level you want it to be given to guests. Luckily we only spent one day here and had previously spent the week in a real 5-star hotel.
I can really only give this hotel 3/5 stars overall.

First of all, l will get the negative points out, which are not alot, only 3 small points. 1 was the bathroom....very small, we had to stand in the shower to be able to close the door when entering the bathroom as there wasnt enough room to move around ! 2nd the tv kept losing the stations, therefore, we could not watch any tv. And lastly, the ”dressing table” had the mirror so high, l had to sit on 2 pillows to be able to see myself (and l am not a short person !) But as for the rest .......The enormous bed gave us the best sleeps ever, it was a spacious room, very quiet as we did not have a seaview, which suited our mood fine ! The breakfast was at the hotel nearly next door, and had a very luxurious breakfast on offer from fresh fruit to fried eggs......fresh bakery items lots of choices. The girl behind the counter l think Constandina was extremely helpful. she even made us a breakfast bag as the day we were leaving was very early, which we found very considerate of them. In all, it was a very pleasant experience

Stayed in suite with sea view. The view was amazing. The room was lovely, bed super comfy. There was a nice vanity table to get ready at. Bathroom was big and clean. The service at reception were very helpful. The location was great right in old town but not too noisy - music from restaurant in evening but I liked it and church bells on Sunday. I really enjoyed my stay here and was very happy with the suite. Couple of things to point out: there was no furniture on the balconies and aside from a pouf, no furniture in room to move outside. So meant nothing to sit on to enjoy balcony and it’s view. Also the curtain was only half curtain so to block out light need to shut the shutters which then restricts air. I didn’t mind but if you want darkness to sleep might need to bring eye mask. Like I said only minor things. Overall great place. Hot water - i mention as I know this is important to people :)

The room was spacious and the hotel was super clean and extremely comfortable. Everything felt brand new and the service was really 5 star. We were happily surprised to learn that the indoor swimming pool is actually just a giant jacuzzi. We spent an hour there on our last night which was super nice. The bed is really comfortable and the place is quiet. There is a valet service for parking your car and we got welcome drinks and snacks on arrival. Thanks again for the free bottle of wine and fruit bowl as a VIP welcome gift. We really enjoyed and will come back to this hotel if we ever visit Chania again one day.

We arrived at the hotel before our check in time due to an early morning flight from Cyprus. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage behind reception until the room was available. We were given 2 free drinks vouchers to use at the bar while we waited for our room. When entering our fifth floor sea view room (505) we were amazed and delighted at the modern luxurious standard consisting of a large double bed, wardrobe with a safe, dressing table 2 comfortable armchairs, a coffee table, hairdryer and clothes steamer. Separate toilet cubicle and a very large rain water shower with all the accessories you would need during your stay which included bathrobes, slippers, shampoo etc. and weight scales which we didn't use 😁 On the work top was a coffee maker machine with pods, kettle and complimentary water, wine and soft drinks in the fridge Also on the table was a tablet with which you could view the restaurant menu and spa menu and lots of information for your convenience. The sea view from the large glass fronted balcony was absolutely stunning and breathtaking and we could see almost to the harbour. Breakfast was included in our booking and was excellent with plenty of variety from cold platters, cereals, pancakes to English style hot breakfast. Our only issue was the plates for hot food were not warmed resulting in luke warm food. We did take this up with the hotel and received an email the next day to thank us for bringing it to their attention. We enjoyed a dinner at the hotel one night which was reasonably priced and of good quality. The hotel location was a 3 minute walk to the sea front with a further 15 minute walk to the harbour and shops and restaurants. Overall this hotel was very worthy of their 4 star rating and we will be back.

Perfect
IIndia DBCute, cuter, cutest. Elia is the cutest. The sheets were comfy, the bed stiff yet plush. My wife enjoyed the balcony although the view was slightly over mediocre. The free, fresh cookies and eggs were a nice touch. The fridge did make brown noise but really, at the end of the day, I think it helped us sleep better (even though we had to wake up at 4:30am to catch our local bus to Heraklion to make our 9am Blue ferry—but this was delayed too). Good thing we remembered to leave our keys in the room.
GGuest UserOur check-in time was late, and the front desk lady was very warm and smiled beautifully and quickly checked in for us. The room was pleasantly surprised, clean and tidy, and there was a balcony. The room has an induction cooker, tableware, microwave oven, etc. It is very convenient to cook. The most pleasant surprise is that it takes only three minutes to walk across a road from the old city tourist area. Decisively stay for two more days. It’s too OK to choose Antel for Kaniya tourism.
GGuest UserI debated so much about where to stay in Crete and ultimately decided here because of location to the many surrounding activities we wanted to do. Wow, did this hotel exceed every expectation and become much more than a resting place. The rooms are massive, each with unique, compelling features and unforgettable views of the buzzing city and lighthouse. We often sat in the window seating area watching sunsets and the sea below. The staff was super friendly and the attention to the room from the service staff was perfection. They took service and cleaning very seriously. The breakfast was the best we had during our entire honeymoon in Greece. All of their dishes were excellent. My only criticism is the parking situation. It was quite scary trying to get by all the cars lining the tiny street. We had to fold the side mirrors in each time and were inches from hitting cars/curbs on both sides coming in/out. I recognize that is a common issue driving in Europe though. We absolutely loved Chania and would love to visit this hotel again one day. So happy I stumbled across this gem. Thank you Residenza Vranas!
FFaran and Co. International TranslationsGreat value for money! Comfy and cozy, newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment. Great communication with the owners, easy check in- check out process.
Free parking. Close to everything, in a quiet neighbourhood.
They even added a complimentary bottle of wine 🍷.
Couldn't ask for more.
I will definitely rebook it whenever I go back to Chania, Crete.
ААнастасія ГлавацькаToday, I have landed back home after spending amazing week at this family-run hotel. I can definitely tell you that it was one of the best holidays I have ever had, filled with nice people and great Greek weather. The hotel is located very conveniently, you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lidl is just 5-7 min walk. Next to the hotel there was a great coffee shop- Move on. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop which will take you to Chania city centre for a nice promenade and a delicious dinner. Hotel itself is of an apartment style with amazing pool which was always well-maintained and clean. Every day the girls made sure that our room is clean and we have new towels, and they were making quite impressive compositions from flowers and towels😁 The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and always dealt efficiently with any requests we had. Breakfast was delicious and overall our stay was extremely enjoyable. Definitely visit this hotel to feel the amazing Greek hospitality.
CCoryZhang777What I liked about Evans apartments is the decoration. it's a quiet cute stone apartment very close to the beach with many cafes and bars nearby. The host is very welcoming , the bed is comfortable there was an Illy coffee machine with two capsules and everything you may need in the kitchen. The shower was okay but the water got cold for the third person to shower. I did not like the fact that we wanted a separate one bedroom apartment but they air condition was only in the big room so we had to leave the door open for the third person to get some cold air. Also have in mind that the blinds don't block the sun. So if you have a problem with light getting in your sleep make sure you take your mask with you. In general I would stay there again if I wanted something near the center of Chania.
GGuest UserI was very pleased with my stay here for 6 nights. I arrived late at night so the hotel reception was a little tricky to find, and I was nervous since all the shops were closed and the streets were kind of empty but actually the neighborhood is entirely safe and right in the middle of all the action. I loved having everything right at my doorstep - restaurants, shopping, the old town center. The room was clean and actually much larger than I expected. Good wifi, powerful air conditioner, comfortable bed. Overall I had a great stay and highly recommend for anyone watching their budget but wanting to be in the heart of everything.
GGuest UserEven though it is not ”perfect”, I absolutely loved this hotel! It is a small boutique hotel ideally situated on Chania's old harbour. Rooms are full of charm and of good size, you are in the middle of the action, and views are fabulous. The nature of the hotel comes with its own challenges, and perhaps this is what I should start with: - if you travel with large luggage, beware that the hotel has no lift and stairs are quite steep, so if so, you may prefer to ask for a room on the 1st floor. Some rooms also have internal mezzanines. - Wifi is really hit and miss - As other reviewers mentioned, it can be hard to get hot water and the system is fragile so that one morning there was none at all and they had to call a technician to fix it - The area is pedestrian - about 10 minutes (leisurely) walk to the bus station and the nearest road so best for people who like walking. Having said that, none of this bothered me personally. I loved my room and its decor, I found the bed really comfortable (though pillows were really hard), I loved the location, and the staff were lovely. There is a roof terrace with a view to the harbour, a mini fridge in the room if you like to keep some food, and everything was clean and fresh. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserYou’ll walk up 50 marble steps; elevators are forbidden in Old Town. You’ll have trouble finding taxis; streets are pedestrian-only. You’ll talk with Reception by phone and email. Your reward will be one of the most magical balconies in Greece, at the top of Chania’s Old Venetian Harbor. We booked the 4th floor One-Bedroom Suite at the Elia Estia Erato building of Elia Hotels and loved every minute. Elia Hotels Group has renovated historic buildings around Chania into over 20 boutique hotels and apartments. It’s not the Ritz, but you can get that in the US. In Greece, the glitches are worth it to experience Chania up close. Old Venetian Harbor doesn’t just glitter like a storybook–it is a storybook, with more history than anything Disney could imagine. On the stairway landing was a full set of knight's armor (photo). Our balcony had a panoramic view of colorful baroque buildings, dramatic fortresses, an historic mosque and the medieval lighthouse–all reflecting in the harbor at sunset and at night (photos, video). Below us around the harbor were two dozen fine seaside restaurants. In walking distance were huge 16th century monuments to explore and beaches with even more great restaurants. Mr. Antonis Yiakoumakis, Ms. Despina Liakou, and Ms. Maria at Elia Zampeliou Hotel Reception a few streets away (which was our Reception Desk), helped us so much! They showed why Crete is famous for hospitality–even when coping with historic buildings. Historic buildings, for example, don’t have a lot of furniture. There were no drawers for clothing, no place to put modern clam-shell luggage. But when we asked for a luggage stand, they somehow got a large extra table up 3 flights of stairs for us. When I needed smaller bills, Mr. Yiakoumakis personally took me and my 50 Euro bill door to door among local tavernas as waiters whizzed by with heavy trays, until we found a cashier with change. The ambiance was superb, the local food is fantastic, and most important, the people are wonderful. If you need anything, call or email; they answer quickly. When we asked for a few extra towels, we got a weeks’ worth. When the city tore up a nearby street, Ms. Despina personally escorted us to and from our building. Need something? Just ask! :)
