It was an amazing and diverse experience. Daniel provided a thorough and informative tour of Pompeii and you could tell he was very passionate about his homeland. Our driver was energetic and kept the atmosphere light. The food and wine tasting was excellent and I learned a lot about the different kinds of wines. The hostess was very knowledgeable of the food that was presented and clearly proud of what was presented. Bring a horse lover I looked forward to our ride. Our guide, Alex, was patient with everyone and led us through a beautiful vineyard. Rain was on its way so we ended a little sooner than expected but it was still a lovely ride.

Prepare yourself!!! This is not only the best tour of Pompeii but anywhere. Lello is incredibly knowledgeable. His stories of life in Pompeii are intriguing as well as relevant. I highly recommend taking in this wonderful tour.

We had an amazing tour of Pompeii with Glauco! He was enthusiastic, passionate, and such a genuinely great person. His deep knowledge and experience made the whole visit fascinating - we learned so much while managing to avoid the huge crowds thanks to his clever route. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

We had Italo. He was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. We did 2 tours with Raphael tours. Due to weather issues we had to switch the days for Pompei and Capri. Raphael tours took care of everything. Very Accommodating. Highly recommend Raphael tours for both tours

“The Mama experience was awesome and the best meal we had on our entire 2 week Italy trip (maybe because we participated and had the fresh ingredients from the garden!). Thanks for the afternoon Sabrina and family, we will treasure it :). For those foreigners that aren’t used to the train and bus system make sure you consult with Giuseppe and Sophia beforehand, we had some hiccups getting there and getting back to Rome, but the team were great communicating in real time and I never felt alone. I booked a much later train so we ended up having to hang out for quite a while in town so just be-mindful of when it ends.”


