Great location! Walkable to Canal City and Family Mart. full of facilities in the room, fridge, stove, microwave, washing machine, shampoo, bath soap, I love that the room can seperate to 2 bedrooms which match my group. And the terrace is so stunning..
The first room I was allocated had an extremely strong fish smell. It was so bad I felt like throwing up. The room condition was also quite bad. Contacted customer service by email and they gave me another room, which had no smell and was in much better condition. They were quick to respond. But be aware that some of the rooms seem to be more newly renovated and some are quite old. Hotel is in a good location, but a bit off the main road. Requires a bit of a walk. Good amenities in the room with a washing machine and various other things. Bathrooms are nice.
The hotel is not staffed at all. There is no check in desk and no one to help you if you have any problems. You can only email or call customer service. The tablet at the front door for checking in and out often has connection problems. And you can’t check in before 3pm. There is no luggage storage.
I had to quickly find a place to stay due to weather on the Shinkansen, so luckily this was the only room left, with two double beds that could easily accommodate three people.
I arrived soaking wet from the station, so they were very accommodating.
They also brought lots of towels with them, which was very helpful.
I'm really grateful.
The room was spacious, and the microwave and bathroom were all new.
If you get off at Nakasu Kawabata Station and walk through the shopping street from Exit 5, you won't have to worry about getting wet even on rainy days.
There is a walkway through the shopping street to Canal City, so you don't have to cross the traffic lights.
There are no clothes to wear in the room, so it's better to bring your own loungewear.
There is a washing machine and detergent in the room, and you can dry your clothes in the bathroom.
There are a lot of izakayas around, so you can hang out until late at night.
You can watch Netflix, U-NEXT, YouTube, and any other subscription service on the large TV if you log in with your own account.
When I left the room, I could hear the conversations in the next room, but there were only two rooms on the same floor, and the walls were not attached, so I didn't have to worry about noise.
The induction cooker is in the shelf below and there are cooking utensils, so you can buy ingredients and cook them.
It was such a good hotel that it was a shame to only stay one night.
I would like to stay here again next time.
The room is sooo tiny. I'm a petite woman but I still feel it's too small for one person. If you don't smoke don't forget book the smoking free room type. I didn't notice that when I booked online and I'm glad they changed for me though. Japanese breakfast and free breakfast is the plus. And the location is awesome. It takes 5mins to walk to Ohori park. All is said and done, if you have limited budget to find a good hotel with good amenities, you can book this one.
Beautiful ryokan. Authentic, relaxed and well-kept. Beautiful garden, located directly on a canal. A stone's throw from a quiet and beautiful shrine and the jetty for the traditional boats. The landlady speaks a little English and is very helpful. We had a large room on the top floor with a view of the canal. Everything is new, large and comfortable. For one or two nights a perfect place for a traditional Japanese overnight stay including Japanese breakfast. Great value for money. A great place off the beaten track. We would come again. The hotel boasts a fantastic and convenient location, offering easy access to the Expo. The surrounding area has a wide variety of dining options, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. Additionally, the hotel's facilities are very well-equipped, and the hospitality was excellent.

Overnight return stay for flight out of Fukuoka next morning. Room is small. Previous booking was for a semi-double, this booking was for a single - was given identical room type : suspect they downgraded when they realized only 1 pax.

Accommodation in Fukuoka can be quite expensive, so a capsule hotel is a great option for solo travelers. Men and women are housed on separate floors with separate elevators, which provided a strong sense of security. The sleeping pods are on a separate floor from the luggage storage, washrooms, and toilets. While the lockers, washrooms, and toilets are conveniently clustered on one floor, this multi-level arrangement makes changing clothes a bit inconvenient. Still, these communal areas were spotless. Each locker includes a set of pajamas, slippers, a dental kit, and a bath towel. The sleeping capsule itself is about the same width as a train sleeper berth, with a charging port conveniently located above your head.
This restaurant is located deep in the mountains of Yame City. The general group and independent travelers are relatively small, and basically only local Japanese people go there. We stayed at Kurokawa Onsen the night before and had two meals per stay. It was twice the price of this hotel, so the character ratio of this hotel was very high! The dinner was quite rich, which was unexpected for the price. The breakfast was just fine, and the tea was delicious. It was produced in the local Yame City. When I left, I bought two packs of it from the shop in the lobby. Although the hotel has been open for some time, renovation work was carried out just before check-in. Most places look quite new and do not feel old. Compared with Kurokawa Onsen, the spring water here is indeed a little bit inferior, so you get what you pay for. As for the scenery of soaking in the spring, it is indeed unparalleled. The scenery is open and open, especially in the morning, listening to the chirping of birds and soaking in it is particularly refreshing.

Amazing
헤헤수스The Hostel is located 2 min from the subway station, and 15-20 min walking from Hakata Station. The capsule/pod is very spacious, with a adjustable light, hangers and a blackout curtain. I liked that even closing the curtain the capsule wouldn’t get hot. There are lockers for small bag and important items and also a designated area for bigger bags and coats.
The bathrooms in the dorm were always clean. They have 2 shower rooms based on gender. The shower room has a minimum if 6-7 showers. They have baskets to place your clothes and personal items. Before the shower, there is room for changing, it is wide enough it can easily fit 3 people. I noticed the shampoo bottles were always full/refilled. Dryer and some extra amenities were also available at the shower room. The lounge is really good, the ac worked perfectly, enough chairs and tables to eat or work, and even bigger tables for groups. As expected they have information for tourist but also assorted books and mangas, even some in english. The kitchen is well equipped (oven, microwave, stove, plates, hot water, etc). The breakfast was simple but fresh. The first floor has a room for bigger luggage and also they have a washing/drying room, just make sure to have 100yen coins, if not ask the staff to exchange cash. TBH i can’t think of a negative experience, the staff was always friendly and ready to assist, they spoke perfect japanese and english. After checking out i visited another city but ended coming back to fukuoka and making a reservation in this hostel again. 100% recommended.
GGuest UserI was randomly booking a place to stay for over 1 night in Fukuoka, urgently right that evening, due to my bus cancellation because of the weather. Even though it was a bit expensive due to the urgent reservation, I got a great experience here!!! The place is private and comfortable enough to heal after an exhausting snowy day, just returned from a long trip overseas on an overseas flight. There is almost everything you need, but even if there is a lack of anything, you can also easily buy it at the drug store or convenience stores around there (very close, only takes you around 3 minutes walking!!!). For meals, I didn’t experience breakfast or anything there. However, you can have various options since there are some shops, convenience stores, and local restaurants like Japanese branches (reasonable prices like Matsuya with 24/7 opening, for example)!!! Talking about convenience, the nearest subway stop is also very close to the accommodation, so you can have more options if you move to other places easily!!! Back to the place, one of my favorite things here is the smart-pod, which you can use to control the bed component in the shape you want (change it to sofa or bed-sofa)!! You can also set the alarm clock, and the bed will wake you up gently by using a gentle sound that automatically folds itself into a sofa (effectively waking you up and not disturbing others)!!! I love this place and I'm gonna be back this June!!
Highly recommend for you all!!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the pier, large supermarkets, and West Railway Station. The hotel is an old house with a history of 76 years. It is very beautiful, and each area is very well decorated. The landlady is very good at providing service, kneeling service at the door. The most exciting thing should be the breakfast, which is rich in variety, with exquisite scenery and taste, which exceeds the grade of the hotel. The view from the restaurant window is also very elegant, and the emotional value of eating breakfast is full

GGuest UserFasilitas lengkap sekali ada mesin cuci dan dapur yang sangat memudahkan sehari hari. Tapi untuk kebersihan ada sedikit bagian yang kotor. Tapi worth it
RRyan JArtGreat bargain for a hotel for people who just need to catch some sleep in between busy days. You have to do practically everything yourself, but for the price it’s a deal. One great surprise was there was a washing machine. Of course you have to know a bit of Japanese to use it (Google translate), but I was able to even do a quick wash of yesterday’s sweaty clothes. You get your typical toothbrush, comb, towels, and robes. Room was clean and tidy. Shower was clean and expectedly small. I’d definitely stay again.
GGuest UserBreakfast is ordinary, just a simple mini salty pie and a drink. It can even be said that there is no need to exist; there is no need to purchase additional items. There are some conveniences and some inconveniences in getting to the public bathroom on the first floor, but the location and environment are really impeccable.
GGuest UserI stayed here for 3 nights and had a comfortable stay. Location is relatively near to Bus, train station and sightseeing spots.
Breakfast is delicious. Clean rooms and toiletries are provided.
Staff are courteous and kind.
I would love to stay here again when I come back to Fukuoka.
MMr Adam PorterWe were visiting to watch the rugby at the Mikuni World Stadium and wanted somewhere to stay near by. This place was an absolute gem, incredible room, huge jet bath with TV, breakfast served in bed and the best part was the view from the balcony included the Mikuni World Stadium. Staff were amazing, they didn’t speak English but were very quick to assist and help. They received post for me before my arrival which they gave to me as soon as I arrived, there was a private lounge area to rest and refresh when we arrived too early to check in. I would certainly revisit, especially if you’re headed to the stadium. I wish I’d taken more photos of the amazing room!
