We had the salami, cheese and focaccia platter to start. The focaccia was incredible, wish we could go back to try their pizza. For mains we had three roman staples, namely carbonara, cacio e pepe and amatriciana, between the three of us. The presentation and taste of these three dishes were at another level altogether. Service was impeccable, atmosphere was vibrant and we really enjoyed the whole experience.

The fore dishes, caviar, piglet, buffalo, are all very delicious ... plus 10 desserts for more than two hours... The bill is also very &#39;surprising&#39; nearly 500 euros, a small luxury to leave an unforgettable memory.

The restaurant opened at 7:30pm and we had a 7:30pm reservation. We were greeted and seated without any wait. The restaurant inside seating filled up very quickly. Unfortunately we were seated in a corner next to the kitchen/bar entrance/exit so not the best seating location. Otherwise, the service was prompt and friendly, the food came quickly, and overall the food was very good. Highly recommend trying the Quatris, they were excellent!

This restaurant was a great find! Had an excellent meal and all the staff were very pleasant. Thoroughly recommend Tacito.

I went for the first time to Tacito in 2018 and it just opened and came back in 2023 as we loved our first visit! The restaurant is still as great as it was 5 years ago! The food is delicious and the people super nice !!

We arrived early for our reservation and the staff was happy to find a table for us. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. We ordered a few items from the menu all were full of flavor arriving at our table within a few minutes of placing our order. My wife ordered a mojito which she enjoyed very much. I enjoyed 3 different Italian draft beers which were very yummy. We are very glad that we tried Tacito. We are even considering returning tonight.

Entering from the front, you instantly travel through a century... The waiter was very enthusiastic. The seven dishes we ordered were called &quot;Closed Eyes Taste Journey&quot; and were exquisitely presented. The taste of each dish was a little surprise. The tableware was all made of silver, and a set of tableware was changed for each dish. Appetizers, caviar, piglet, buffalo, all delicious... plus desserts, 10 dishes, more than two hours... The bill was also &quot;surprisingly&quot; nearly 500 euros, a small luxury that left an unforgettable memory.

It felt a bit sketch going down by river and past some trash bins.  We were there in November so few people dining there.  It was a beautiful day and eating along the Tiber River  was lovely. All the other diners appeared to be Italian and the waitress did not speak English.  The food was good and the setting a quiet respite from the city and not far from Piazza  Dei Popolo. We had toured Borghese Gallery in the morning and it was a lovely walk from there to Terrazzo Pincio for the view and then down the stairs and short walk to the riverfront. i was glad we chose this spot.

We felt very welcome, the people serving were most friendly and helpful. We were given the opportunity to choose between a table in the garden or on the roof - we chose the latter with a nice view and a breeze. The experience was complete and service was wonderful, with a nice amuse to start with and pure, good food. Drinks (non-alcoholic cocktails) were also good and a lust for the eye, decorated with flowers - the only disadvantage was that drinks were rather expensive.

My wife and I visited this restaurant tonight. The service was fast, helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed the food. Simple, but good. Started with a pear, Gorgonzola and walnuts followed by chicken in a cream sauce and beef in a red wine sauce. Extensive wine list. Reasonable price for Rome. Enjoyable night.
