Taian

This is a Michelin three-star hotel in Osaka. The wagyu beef here is the most famous and is also its specialty. The appetizers include puffer fish sashimi, and the tofu soup is delicious. The soup is made with the original puffer fish soup.

Taian is a Japanese restaurant in Osaka with good value for money. What I like most about them is the fresh sea urchin, which is so delicious and melts in your mouth. The tempura is also fried crispy and is especially refreshing with vinegar. There is also a sashimi platter, which is generous in portion and fresh in ingredients. It tastes like the ocean. Very good!

They provide all kinds of seasonal grilled food according to the season. The presentation and dining order are very particular, which is completely different from the domestic style of feasting on grilled skewers. The service is a bit rigid. There is no warm water when I want it, only ice water. I asked for a cup of tea and added ice cubes to make it warm, but it didn't work.

Given the 2 star Michelin rating, I had high expectations for it, but it’s very different from the similar kaiseiki restaurants I’ve been to in Tokyo and Kyoto. Because the bar was too high, the waiter had to cross over to the customer and then deliver the plate to the diner, instead of the chef showing each dish directly to the customer. The food was ordinary and the plate was ordinary. Although the grilled Kobe steaks (2 slices) were delicious, they were 2,000 yen higher than the standard 14,000 yen, which I thought was too expensive

The environment is good and the ingredients are fresh and exquisite. Personally feel that eating is more restrained, or there is an atmosphere for domestic eating, occasionally experience it, often this is difficult.
