What travelers say:
A standard hotel-style restaurant, right next to Wulongtan Park. It is said to be authentic Shandong cuisine. There are many diners at lunch time. Although there are small tables, it feels more suitable for a group meal. If there are few people, you don’t order many dishes because the dishes are too large. I only ordered two hard dishes and was persuaded by the waiter to stop, saying that these two people can finish them. Facts have proved that the waiter is quite honest. A sweet and sour carp is also a must-order signature dish. Compared with the nine-turn large intestine and stir-fried kidney, it is more popular with tourists from all over the world. The taste is sweet and sour, and it is very appetizing. There are not many fish bones, but it must be hot. It will be slightly fishy when it cools down. It can be seen that it is very delicious before it is put into the pot. I arranged the fish leaping on the ground, thinking about the carp swimming in the Wulongtan nearby, and then looking at the table...same fish, different fates
The other one is a family portrait, a big pot full of meat, chicken wings, tendons, lion heads, kelp, vegetables and soy products. Not only is it covered with a layer, but there are also ingredients underneath. No wonder they are worried that we can't finish it. Originally, I ordered this pot just because the pork was sold out, thinking that there would be meat in it, but I didn't expect it to be so worthwhile
Although there are only two main dishes, it took a long time to serve them. It was probably the lunch rush. If you are hungry, you can only order some snacks first. Youxuan is a local specialty, with a salty and fragrant taste, a bit like scallion pancakes, and fried fruit is sweet and similar to sugar cakes
