Everything is top in this hidden jewel. The menu is gorgeous, the quality exceptional, the staff is kind and helpful. We will come again
I selected this restaurant because it was listed as a 'hidden gem'. It was amazing....many locals arrived and obviously know the staff. The anchovies, seam bream and sea chicken ravioli was spectacular!
The food was superb, service spectacular. It was a little hard to find but well worth the trip. The place is flanked by several buildings and under a bridge, our gps went crazy trying to find it. Will definitely go back!
Friendly place with good food but most of our dishes came with a very similar fish/pomodoro sauce. Perhaps it’s our fault for not understanding the menu better.
What went well: - very good food- our waiter was knowledgeable and courteous What did not go well:- The host was rude. We came a little earlier than the reservation and the restaurant was empty (we were the first one to arrive and this was my restaurant selection for my wife’s birthday while in town). When we arrived she had a very bad attitude, asking why we had to arrive earlier and in a rude manner telling us that we will have to wait seating at a table because no one would serve us)- when the check came, same attitude: almost throwing the bill at us. Just because of this attitude, I do NOT recommend going to this restaurant. There are lots of great options to dine in Genoa. There is no need to have a bad customer experience.
