What travelers say:
Staying in the hotel upstairs, I had lunch here. The roasted gluten was tender but slightly salty, the braised tripe strips were light and crispy, the white-cut chicken was chilled but the chicken was average. I wanted to order Liangxi crispy eel, but it was sold out, so I changed to stir-fried eel shreds, which was full and tasted good, with garlic sprouts and twice-cooked pork. The sesame cake and tofu soup cost 18 yuan per serving. The soup was delicious, and you could tell it was not MSG water. The tofu and chicken blood were cut into thin shreds, which took some effort. The sesame cake was average. The West Taihu whitebait egg was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The whitebait was fresh, but it was a bit greasy if you ate too much. Finally, a local chicken stewed with bamboo shoots was served, and the chicken was left because it was served too late and I couldn't eat it. The waiter was not very active, but he was quite skillful. The environment was average, the lobby design was okay, and the private room had no special features. The price is proportional to the five-star hotel.
