Waitomo Homestead

There is a giant red apple sculpture at the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant offers buffet style, and tour groups often come here for meals because it is close to the glowworm cave, so it is very convenient. The fish and chips here are very good.

This restaurant is located on the way back to Auckland from the Waitomo Caves, about 5 minutes' drive from the scenic spot. There is a big apple sculpture on the roadside that is easy to recognize. It is considered a relatively large restaurant in the surrounding area. Although the restaurant space is large, the seats are relatively compact and not very comfortable to sit. There is a buffet, but there are only a few simple products. The so-called grilled steak, although the meat is fresh, the cooking is quite rough and there is no surprise. It is purely because there is really no better choice around, so I just fill my stomach. There is a garden behind the restaurant with a nice view, suitable for taking pictures.
