Ristorante Vignamare

No one is perfect, but these folks come pretty close. The setting is enchanting; the tasting menu is both beautiful and delicious; the house wines representative of the best the region has to offer. The wait staff is sincere and enthusiastic. This is a romantic and distinctive place to splurge. It;s expensive, but you feel like you are getting your money's worth.

Stellar lunch in every sense. Excellent dishes, not one that disappointed us. Elegant but not too formal service that made us feel at ease. Warm and modern location with a superlative view of the gulf. If I could I would give more than 10!

I had the pleasure of going a second time and I am pleased to see that the level of the cuisine has risen. However, the welcome was not up to par! Although I was a late (15 min) not because of me, and having difficulty finding the entrance, to a joke of mine (and well-mannered) about the lack of some indication, I was made to feel like an incompetent because I had not followed the illuminated staircase on the terrace. Probably the tiredness of the construction site had the upper hand, but it certainly annoyed us for the "piqued" response that actually ruined the atmosphere. Being starred is an achievement, but also a challenge to make the customer feel at their best and not to make them feel incompetent. That was not the case
