Toby Carvery Redhill

I took a friend to the Toby Carvery in Redhill for the first time. While we were waiting to be given a table, the first thing we heard was a lady behind the bar angrily shouting at the restaurant staff: "What's the point of me being behind the bar and training you if you don't let me train? I might as well go home." This was very unprofessional and not a little embarrassing for us to hear. My friend was not impressed. However, once seated, the carvery food was great. Special mention to our waitress, Alex, who was lovely: very friendly and chatty. We wish you well, Alex - you'll go far!!

Since we last visited the Carvery, it has been redecorated and modernised. It's now much lighter and appears more open, giving it a completely different feel. We liked this very much and commented to the staff, who also seemed happy about the changes. The food was, of course, just as good as always, and we would recommend it to anyone who likes eating out.

Been coming here since before Christmas '22, never been disappointed. Food cooked just right, waiter service always friendly, Tables always clean. Chairs could be re upholstered. Decor looks clean.

Food was good, Beef was cooked to my taste. No complaints from my guests, clean plates all round. Service was good and a very helpful waitress, atmosphere was good and noise level was minimal. A very good experience.
