Ko Sushi

For me personally, this restaurant is super memorable! This is my first meal in Otaru and it was recommended by a local friend. The wooden structure is very Japanese. The dishes are not big but very delicate. The Japanese culture is exquisite! The ingredients are very fresh and the sashimi is super good!

I recommend Ko's sushi, the restaurant where we had dinner yesterday. Although it's a little far away in Langley, it's in a relatively hidden small plaza, but the food is very delicious! The highlight is the sushi rolls, which are super creative, such as bacon rolls, baked scallop rolls, and deep-fried glutinous rice rolls~ There are more than a dozen kinds on the menu. I guess I have to go there several times to eat all the rolls there... And the fruit platter at the end is so cute~ [花心]

The set meal I ordered included 10 pieces of sushi. The shrimp sushi was elastic, tender and sweet. The sea urchin sushi was made from Hokkaido sea urchins, which had no fishy smell at all and were only sweet and melt-in-the-mouth.

I quite like their sushi rice, especially the chirashi sushi which is full of seafood, diced and spread on soft rice. It is very delicious. You can also order sushi sets, which are all prepared for you without having to rack your brain to choose. The environment is also very good, with tatami.

There are many variations of sushi, so each taste is unique. I couldn't stop eating. Although the restaurant is not very big, the environment is very good, it is full of customers, the price is very reasonable, and I had a great time eating.
