I saw a food show recommending Hokugokuro before, so I put it on my to-eat list in Otaru. There are so many desserts, and considering that I have to carry them back to Sapporo after buying them, I decided to buy them near my home in Sapporo or at the airport, so I chose two types of puffs. When my husband gave it to me, neither of us could hold it properly, and it rolled directly on the ground ♀️ I picked it up and continued to eat... The puffs tasted okay, but I was not amazed... The light-colored one was very chewy and had a mochi texture~
I wanted to buy letao puffs on the commercial street of Otaru Canal, but they were sold out. I happened to come here and tried one. It was really delicious and the price was very cheap, even lower than the big puffs in Dalian, 180 yen each. Although there was a lot of cream, it was not greasy at all. It was definitely an unexpected surprise. The annual ring cake was also delicious. I bought a box of puffs to take away.
