Isezushi

Today we passed by Matsuzaka on the way from Yokkaichi to Ise, so we went to eat the legendary Matsusaka beef! And it is conveyor-belt sushi. It is said that there is only "Issho Miyamachi Store" in a radius of N hundred miles! We had so many plates and thought it would be expensive, but the average price for four people was only about 4,000 yen! ​

I took my family, my mother and brother, to my mother's birthday dinner. It was perfect, exceeded all my expectations and I couldn't be happier. Lastly, the chef/owner Yuuki Tanaka and all the staff were so friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my mother's birthday dinner was a success. It was a truly great experience.

Ise Sushi is located at 3-15-3 Inaho, Otaru, Hokkaido. This restaurant is very popular and the sushi is delicious. We ordered the sushi set (16 pieces of sushi) and the portion was large enough to fill us up. The restaurant staff speaks good English.

Hokkaido's small village market is very famous, very well-known overseas, whether its goods or physical goods are cheap. Compared with big cities like Shanghai, their prices are basically the same, but the ingredients are fresh. And the delicious sushi is like one of them, as shown in the picture, the squid there is fresh, full and delicious, and the sauce is thick. The grains of rice are full. Not a bowl is enough. If you're lucky enough to go anywhere, sushi is fine.

We were recommended to go to Otaru for sushi and we were not disappointed. We used a booking app to book two counter seats for lunch at Ise Sushi. We chose the no menu option. Our chef spoke a little English and could describe the sushi. Our meal consisted of 16 pieces of sushi and was finished in 50 minutes! The meal was good because the portions were not too big so we didn't feel too full after eating. The sushi was very fresh. The price was also much cheaper than similar restaurants in Tokyo. If you are in Otaru, it is worth a try but remember to book a counter seat.
