Pushing open the wooden door of Nuenen, it&#39;s like falling into Van Gogh&#39;s unfinished sketchbook. This is his hometown where he lived in seclusion from 1883 to 1885, and the source of inspiration for nearly 200 paintings. The red brick farmhouse beside the bluestone road, the crooked fence, the old windmill, and even the pottery jars on the windowsill have become his &quot;Potato Eaters&quot; and &quot;Weaver&#39;s Cottage&quot;. It is recommended to go to the Van Gogh Museum first, and through the yellowed sketches and letters, you can see how he captured the soul of the countryside with rough brushstrokes.

🚲 Cycling light-chasing tour
Rent a free white bicycle 🚴♀️ and roam along the &quot;Van Gogh Walking Route&quot;. 23 scenes in the painting are scattered in the fields: the waterwheel in Oppwetten is still creaking, and the restaurant under the antler chandelier emits the aroma of burnt apple pie. The city hall stipulates that the exterior of the building must retain its original 19th-century appearance, but the antler lights and warm yellow lights in the store make time as gentle as the dusk in Van Gogh&#39;s paintings.

🌻 Hidden Easter eggs and limited romance

Old church tower: Climb up the 12th-century ruins and overlook the cemetery where Van Gogh&#39;s father rests. 35 paintings were born here.

Handmade experience: Learn to paint Van Gogh-style still life paintings at the villagers&#39; home, and the apron is covered with paint for a real immersive check-in!

Seasonal limit: The wheat fields are golden in April and May, and the red leaves are all over the mountains in November. Nuenen in different seasons is a surprise on Van Gogh&#39;s palette.
