The Michelin restaurant downstairs from the National Hotel took two days to book. To be honest, the taste was average, and the service was even more average. The day before, I asked the hotel to help me book, but they said there were no seats left. The next day, I went to book the evening table by myself in the morning and got it. When we were eating in the evening, the front desk saw that we were Chinese and said impatiently that there were no seats left. I said in English very impolitely, "We have a reservation." She looked up the record and took us directly to the first seat, which was the worst seat next to the toilet. Michelin should be very clean, right? I actually saw flies here. To be honest, it's not right downstairs from our hotel. I really don't recommend it. It's better to eat Georgian food. I definitely won't step into the trap.

A restaurant that specializes in Soviet-Russian cuisine and has a humorous decoration style. Although this restaurant on Manezh Square has only been open for a few years, it has already become a famous restaurant. On the menu, you can find classic Soviet dishes: dumplings with various fillings, Russian pickles, soups, meat pies, and nostalgic desserts. In addition to the mouth-watering special dishes, the restaurant's interior decoration is luxurious, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Kremlin outside the window during the meal, which is impressive.

The appetizer bread was hot and crispy, the pan-fried silver cod was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, my friend said it was much better than the Japanese restaurant; the lobster risotto was also good, with strong cheese and lobster flavors, the vegetable salad was average. I didn't drink alcohol, but ordered a pot of Earl Grey tea.

[Taste] The dishes are good, but not particularly amazing. I recommend the cheese grilled mushrooms and pumpkin soup. [Environment] The good location is the biggest highlight of the restaurant. It is located at the beginning of Tverskoi Street, across the street from the Red Square. You can see the History Museum and the Kremlin tower across the busy traffic. There are outdoor seats in summer [Service] Mainly waitresses. English is available. The price is touching. I went there in the summer of 2017 and spent 3,000 rubles for two people, about 300 yuan.

Remember to bring cash with you, because if you don't bring cash, you won't be able to enjoy the delicious food. This time I tasted delicious cakes and biscuits, paired with appetizers, cold cuts, fish, pickles and salads, it was a very hearty dinner.

The interior decoration of the restaurant has many Soviet elements, so the history of the restaurant is not short. The restaurant mainly serves traditional Russian food and creative dishes, and there are many types of vodka. The service and food taste are first-class.
