Ong Kee Restaurant (安记芽菜鸡沙河粉) is located at Jalan Yau Tet Shin, Taman Jubilee, Ipoh, Perak. Famous for its chicken, Hor Fun & bean sprouts. I went there on weekday, less crowds and served fast! The chicken was tasty and bean sprouts was crunchy and juicy!
An Kee Bean Sprout Chicken and Shahefen is located in the busiest Old Street Night Market in Ipoh. It is also one of the three most famous bean sprout chicken restaurants in Ipoh. There are almost no seats left since 5pm. You must try the local garden chicken and bean sprouts (bean sprouts), as well as chicken oil rice and Shahefen. Other dishes recommended include chicken offal and swordfish balls. The taste is really first-class, absolutely authentic, and the price is reasonable... Even at mealtime, many locals will come to eat. The store is small and there are not enough seats. It feels a bit uncomfortable to wait for a seat. In addition, the boss is really busy and really has no time to greet customers. Finding a dish depends on your agility.

This Ang Kee Bean Sprout Chicken restaurant is just opposite the Lao Huang Bean Sprout Chicken in Ipoh Food Street. As we didn't stay in Ipoh for long, we only chose Ang Kee. There were quite a lot of locals. The chicken comes in small and large portions to suit the number of people dining. We had small portions for two of us, and the soup was served with rice noodles. A plate of boiled chicken, a portion of bean sprouts, and two rice noodles cost RM26, which is not expensive. The chicken was very fragrant but a little old, perhaps because it was not a feed chicken but a free-range chicken, so it was older. Anyway, it was very good.
