Lovely service, lovely food. Should be clearer that it&#39;s in a (superb) retirement village, we&#39;re happy with that and will be back, but might not be for everyone

Carvery style lunch with a choice of lamb beef or turkey.  Food was fresh and delicious, service was attentive and friendly.  Lovely outdoor area with fantastic views.

The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Great view, even saw red kites flying by! We highly recommend &amp; will definitely be returning.

Lovely location, lovely staff, loving food. We went for lunch, very recommended the terrine, coq au vin and poached pears, amazing!! we&#39;ll definitely come back

The Clevedon at Ben Rhydding

We had a family gathering, reflecting on the loss of a family member. The ambience and quality of environment at the Cow and Calf were excellent and we were seated at a lovely table. Each of us enjoyed our meals which were well-presented and delicious. The service was generally great. Coffees and drinks, however, were served so violently that they banged down loudly on the table and the coffees all slopped into their saucers. So extreme that it was comic, I actually laughed out loud, but this didn&rsquo;t spoil our experience.
