The environment was pretty good at night. There was a resident band coming over to ask for tips, it was up to you to give or not. I looked at the menu which was mostly in Spanish, so I could only order randomly as we couldn&#39;t communicate in the language.

The shabby and inconspicuous bar and restaurant turned out to be a popular check-in spot, La Guarida, which was the filming location of the famous gay film &quot;Strawberries and Chocolate&quot; that entered the Berlin Film Festival. A relatively local restaurant, tried ropa vieja (traditional Cuban dish shredded beef, I think it is the best ropa vieja of the whole trip) and lobster, so delicious!
