Sono Japanese Restaurant Portside Wharf located in 39 Hercules St, Hamilton | Level 1, Building 7, Portside Wharf, Brisbane, Queensland 4007, Australia, we had a very pleasant meal at this restaurant. We thought it was definitely worth the money because we felt everything here was very in line with our taste. The sake here is delicious! The sashimi here is the best I have ever eaten! I didn’t really like the spicy dishes but it was just a matter of my personal taste and not what the food itself was. The staff at this restaurant were very lovely and our experience was great. The cocktails were great too! This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to!

I'm not sure if it was filling, but it was more than enough. I noticed the table next to me had tempura which looked very filling with huge shrimp and vegetables, I will try that next time. The service was very attentive and efficient, with clear instructions for each dish. There was also an extensive wine list. We can't wait to go back.

The sushi and sashimi were both pretty good, the wasabi tasted good, the sashimi rice was also very good, and there was raw beef, but I couldn't eat it, so I cooked it together in a sukiyaki pot, and it tasted good.

Small shop with friendly staff and great service. Large portions of sashimi, salmon belly sashimi, edamame, prawns with avocado, udon noodles, and a bottle of wine for the two of us came to around $140.
