Samphire Restaurant @ The County Hotel

The staff were super efficient and friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable Icing on the cake? The meal in the restaurant was superb, compliments to the chef. We would definitely come again.

Fantastic service. Bookings from the fork had not been received (not just ours) but the staff managed to rearrange and find us a table despite being a very busy evening with the 50% off ending and being a bank holiday. Covid precautions all in place, with screens at reception, hand sanitiser always near by, and staff were wearing masks, so felt safe the whole time. Our waitress was great, really friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious too. Will definitely be back soon.

Staff and service very friendly and would recommend to friends and family. A lovely evening and lovely food at great price. We enjoyed the Lamb and Chicken Thai Green Curry.

Myself and my partner stayed in the hotel so decided to sample the restaurant. We had a 3 course set meal, not too much to choose from, but what they had was nice. they have quite a extensive wine list too. The staff were very friendly and attentive. overall a lovely meal, reasonably priced, my only moan, and it is a little moan, was the paper top, table cloth.. kept getting in the way, and just was not in keeping with the rest of the nicely decorated restaurant, ditch them !!

I went there with my husband this evening..we had a great time.Excellent food, nice atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We'll definitely going back again soon.
