The food was very good and was given the most delicious amuse bouche. The service was good but we did feel rushed at beginning to place our orders.
My wife and myself within 2-3 days decided to go to Chamonix for a few days walking. We found Chamonix overcrowded because of a big fun-run, that is if you imagine yourself to run around Mont Blanc a distance of approximately 170 kilometer. short of hotels we ended up at Hotel Morgane with the astonishing nice restaurant Comptoire des Alpes with superb food and a group of very knowledgeable and nice staff
All of the food was excellent. It was appreciated that each person could order either the three course meal or individual dishes.

We had a wonderful evening! First, the restaurant decor was quietly beautiful, serene, elegant and warm—very much in the Scandinavian spirit of hygge. Service was welcoming, courteous and efficient. The seared seabream was spectacular, and the wine-by-the -glass was well curated—we just wish the pour was more generous. We’re not big drinkers, but this was the shortest pour we’ve ever had. The food was definitely high quality with great attention to detail in presentation, nutritional value and temperature. We highly recommend and would definitely come back!
