Le Balbec

The food is really good, yet the staff's attitude was unpleasant. We were a group of 6 and 2 of our friends were running late. We were told they had to be there in max 20 minutes if not they couldn't order and that a gastronomic restaurant is like a train, either you hop on on time or you loose it. We also wanted the menu dégustation which was not possible because of the hour. It was not indicated anywhere (including their website) that for the menu dégustation we had to be there at a certain hour. A friend of mine who was with her 4 month old was told to hurry up eating cause they had to bring the next menu. We've been to several Michelin star restaurants and have never been treated like this. An overall sub par expérience

The brunch food was very good, as one would expect, and the service top notch. However, we could not possibly drink the two bottles of wine included in the price, along with bottles of water. So not a good value for the high price charged.

Excellent à tout point de vue

A memorable moment to celebrate my anniversary and our wedding anniversary. The Balbec offered us a sweet parenthesis: a beautiful setting over the sea, a subtle and emotional kitchen, a careful presentation and, above all, a service of a rare welfare. We have been very happy to have a great deal of food and food.

What to say who would not have been said yet. The magnificence of the sea, the sunset, comfort and attentionful welcome, all helped to make our evening an unforgettable moment. The reputation of the places is no longer to do, but nothing prevents us from sharing it, The quality of the dishes is true to say Romanic !
