Along with a 5 Star meal with a gracious waitress that was patient, knowledgeable and generous with the brotchen, we also got a chance to learn about the distillery at the hotel and meet the chef and mastermind behind the concept. It was a learning experience that made my sister’s birthday so special and I’d recommend to anyone in Germany to take a trip to Behl’s Genusshotel and have as much fun as we did!!

The menu was well-coordinated and tasted excellent. The service was friendly and competent. I would happily go back.

We were welcomed in the wine cellar with great live music and delicious finger food from Alsace. The 4-course menu that followed was top notch! It started with a juicy duck liver terrine, which the orange chutney went perfectly with. The salmon soufflé that followed was a feast for the eyes and perfectly prepared to be light and airy. The French chicken breast in the main course was tender, juicy and had a convincing meaty taste, accompanied by a perfectly balanced ratatouille. The dessert consisted of a lovingly flamed creme brulee with a lovely fruity vineyard peach chutney. The wines accompanied the menu very well. The service staff were always friendly and very attentive. A wonderful evening!
