Xinmi Travel Guide
Xinmi is situated in central Henan province to the east of Mount Song. It is named after the State of Mi, to which it belonged during the Western Zhou dynasty. The county has a long history – the Yellow Emperor is believed to have lived here on Xuanyuan Hill. Popular attractions include Jianshan Scenic Area, the Yellow Emperor's Palace, the Xinmi County Museum and the Han dynasty Dahuting Tombs.
