One of the must-see attractions in Turkey, Pamnkale Pamukkale!
Pamukkale is actually calcified limestone, hard and not as soft as its name, cotton! It hurts when walking barefoot! ! ! The soles of my feet are red after walking! The whole journey is like walking on Shichun Road!
There are three entrances to the Pamukkale Scenic Area, the North Gate, the Middle Gate and the South Gate, with the South Gate being the nearest village and hotel complex. And the south gate opens at the earliest, opening at 06:30AM, this time to enter Pamukkale, the least crowded! It will take pictures of no one!
And I chose to get up early and enter from the south gate to avoid the crowds! If there is a south gate to enter, you will first go through some of the ruins stone piles, about 5-8 minutes to the key white lime shed. This area is not too big, walk a little down you will see the view of terraced fields, the landscape is more beautiful!
There are also hot air balloons in Pamukkale, so when you walk into the scenic spot you will see a small number of hot air balloons taking off, or flying! Of course the number of hot air balloons is much less than Cappadocia, not as spectacular, but another taste!
The park has signs indicating how to get to other in-park attractions. If you take pictures you can visit different Hierapolis ruins, there are hot springs area, temples, theaters, etc., of which the big theater is the most spectacular, a little like a small version of the Roman Colosseum. It is the most beautiful of so many sites!
P.S。
*Pamukkale Scenic Area mainly includes lime sheds and ruins, I spent about 2-2.5hr hours in the lime shed myself (depending on your photo time)
*Must have sunglasses, +/- hat
*Summer morning sun is softer, but around 7 p.m
