RR&M Swart: Very good hotel. Great location, a 19-minute walk to the city center. The hotel itself is clean and fresh, with friendly staff and an excellent, extensive breakfast. The room and bathroom were remarkably clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping does a great job. Parking through the hotel in the adjacent garage is very cheap, only €10 per day (May 2026). Highly recommended for a stay in Bremen, especially with the best rate I found on TRIP.com.

GGuest User: This is definitely one of the best family-friendly hotels in Bremen. The service is super nice. Although Germans are serious, the service is really excellent. The guy at the front desk took the initiative to ask if we need a baby cot. The only problem is the antique hardware. The knobs for the washbasin and bathtub are not very responsive.

TTravellerChen: Great location! Pleasant spacious room. However, for this price better amenities were expected as there was no body & head shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, lotion etc. The fridge did not work properly (did not cool down). Also you can’t adjust the airco too much only 3 degrees above or below. (Quite cold did not heat properly when turned on). Mentioned that we didn’t want a room close by the elevator but still got this but the room was nice and no sound heard from outside! Furthermore, breakfast is standard nothing special similar to cheaper places, I would eat outside. Parking really expensive €30 per 24h €4 per hour I would recommend this place for its location for a small city trip ideal since you are located in the city centre but if you have more time, I would recommend other spots as you pay premium for the location.

HH-Y-H: This hotel is a bit old-fashioned and full of a retro vibe. The check-in counter is just a small window in the lobby. The elevator is small, an old-school mechanical type. The restaurant has plenty of spacious seating, and the food is incredibly abundant. They offer eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, and a wide variety of breads. The room is also very clean. The only downside is that there's no desk in the room, which was inconvenient for me when I needed to use my laptop for work. But overall, I would still give it more than 4 out of 5 stars.

GGuest User: Excellent hotel, the receptionists were very friendly and professional. I made my reservation through Trip.com, you can choose if you wanted a quieter room or not. We didn't include breakfast in our reservation, and we returned to the hotel early in the evening, so it seemed quiet. The elevator is a bit small if you're traveling with a stroller, however, everything else was great.

The only drawback was that the bathroom door was not closed tightly, and water leaked all over the floor after taking a shower, and there was no floor drain.

This time I traveled from Shanghai to Frankfurt and spent 5 days in Germany. From the fairy tale world of Bremen to the harbor charm of Hamburg, Germany has so many surprises. The autumn sun under the Gothic spires, the aroma of coffee among colorful houses, and those UNESCO World Heritage sites make this trip a "World Cultural Heritage Tour." . Sharing my itinerary and public transportation 🚄 【My Itinerary】 Day 1-2: Shanghai - Frankfurt - Bremen We flew direct from Shanghai to Frankfurt with Lufthansa, a 13-hour flight. After arriving in Frankfurt, we took the Deutsche Bahn ICE high-speed train north to Bremen. . Day 3: Bremen The bronze sculpture of the "Town Musicians" in front of the UNESCO World Heritage Bremen City Hall is always lively. The Renaissance paintings in the art museum are captivating, the planetarium at the Center for Space Science projects star trails, and the winding alleys of the Schnoor district are painted in bright colors. Around the corner, we found a handmade chocolate shop—these little joys during travel are the most touching. . Day 4: Bremen - Hamburg The Deutsche Bahn ICE high-speed train took me to Hamburg, with windmills and wheat fields of the North German Plain flying past the window. Upon arrival in Hamburg, I headed straight to the UNESCO World Heritage Speicherstadt—the red brick warehouse district along the Elbe River. The Chilehaus observation deck overlooks the harbor, cranes busily loading and unloading containers, and the seagulls’ calls mixed with the sea breeze blowing into my collar. In the 2,000-square-meter miniature world model, trains shuttle and streetlights twinkle. . Day 5: Hamburg The grand finale in Hamburg is the City Hall, with its impressive Neo-Renaissance tower. Then we explored the vibrant fashion district and the St. Pauli bunker, which has been transformed into a cultural space full of modern art. Climbing to the rooftop platform, we enjoyed a 360-degree panoramic view of Hamburg’s harbor area and city skyline.

In the vast lands of northern Germany, Bremen shines like a dazzling pearl, radiating its unique and captivating charm. Let's spend the next three days exploring this city and experiencing its splendor from all angles. Day 1: A Journey Through History and Culture Morning: Upon arrival in Bremen, head straight to the Market Square. The Gothic architecture of Bremen City Hall is a stunning sight. This building has witnessed Bremen's glorious history, with its exquisite exterior, unique architectural structure, and lifelike statues and reliefs on the walls telling stories of the past. The majestic Roland Statue nearby, symbolizing the city's autonomy and freedom, adds a touch of solemnity. Take your time here to appreciate and feel the weight of history. Noon: Find a traditional restaurant near the square to taste Bremen's specialty - Bremen sausage. The firm and flavorful sausage paired with special sauce and bread offers an authentic local taste with every bite. Afternoon: Visit the Kunsthalle Bremen (Bremen Art Gallery). The gallery's rich collection includes works by many famous European artists, from classicism to modern art. Stroll through the halls, immerse yourself in the ocean of art, and feel the emotions and creativity conveyed by paintings of different styles. Day 2: Where Fairy Tales Meet Cuisine Morning: Following the footsteps of fairy tales, visit the Bremen Town Musicians statue. The lively figures of the donkey, dog, cat, and rooster bring the famous fairy tale to life. Take photos here and experience the city's unique romance and playfulness. Then browse the nearby shops filled with fairy tale elements to pick up some lovely souvenirs. Noon: Experience Bremen's beer culture at a local pub. Order a glass of rich and aromatic beer paired with traditional German pork knuckle. The crispy-skinned, tender pork knuckle will surely satisfy your appetite. Afternoon: Head to Bremen's Old Town. Walk through the narrow streets and admire the diverse historic buildings on both sides. These buildings, though weathered by time, retain their original charm, with every detail showcasing Bremen's historical changes. Day 3: The Fusion of Nature and Modernity Morning: Visit the Weser River banks and take a leisurely stroll along the riverside path. In spring, the sparkling water, shady trees, and blooming flowers create a vibrant scene. Take a boat ride to enjoy Bremen's cityscape from the water. Noon: Dine at a riverside restaurant, savoring fresh river seafood paired with crisp salads for a relaxing lunch. Afternoon: Visit Bremen's modern architecture and business district to experience how the city maintains its historical heritage while showcasing modern vitality. Here, modern shopping centers and fashionable buildings create a striking contrast with the old district, yet coexist harmoniously. As the sunset casts its last rays over Bremen, our three-day journey comes to an end. This city has given us an unforgettable experience with its rich history and culture, romantic fairy tale atmosphere, tempting cuisine, and the fusion of nature and modernity. May this time in Bremen become a precious and beautiful memory in your heart.

Germany has so much to offer that there is no "one-size-fits-all" itinerary. The key is to customize it based on your time, interests, and travel style. We've put together a few popular itinerary frameworks here that you can use as a reference or ask AI to help you adjust. 🗺️ Popular itinerary frameworks Classic southern fairy tale route (5–7 days) Perfect for first-time visitors who love castles and scenic lakes. Typically starting and ending in Frankfurt or Munich, this route connects Heidelberg, Neuschwanstein Castle, Königssee, and Rothenburg (a medieval fairy tale town). It’s a fast-paced trip, but it covers the most iconic sights in southern Germany. East-west panoramic loop (10–15 days) Ideal for travelers with more time who want to see as much of Germany as possible. Starting in Frankfurt, you'll travel through the Rhine Valley, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, and Dresden before ending in Munich. This route offers a mix of romantic western river views, northern Hanseatic cities, and historic eastern cities. In-depth themed tours (7–18 days) Great for travelers with specific interests. You can take a leisurely road trip along the Romantic Road (Würzburg–Rothenburg–Neuschwanstein) or the Fairy Tale Road (Hanau–Bremen), focus on the history and culture of Berlin and Potsdam, or explore the natural beauty of the Black Forest. 📌 Important pre-trip reminders Visa and entry You need to apply for a Schengen visa in advance through the country where you will be staying the longest. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the end of your trip. If you are transiting through Germany to a non-Schengen country and remain in the international transit area, you typically do not need a visa. However, if you need to change airports and enter the Schengen area, a visa is required. Transportation and accommodation The ICE high-speed train is the most efficient and comfortable way to travel between cities. If you plan to explore smaller towns in depth, renting a car offers more flexibility. Keep in mind that most shops are closed on Sundays, so plan your shopping for Saturday. Be sure to book popular attractions, such as Neuschwanstein Castle, online in advance to avoid disappointment. Practical details Germany uses European-style round-pin plugs, so you will need an adapter. It is customary to leave a 5%–10% tip at restaurants. Follow the "ladies first" etiquette and avoid speaking loudly in public. In an emergency, dial 110 (police) or 112 (medical assistance). Once you decide on the approximate length of your trip and the places you most want to visit, I can help you create a more detailed itinerary.

Situated right in front of Pohang’s Yeongildae Beach, O'Bremen is widely regarded as the city’s premier oceanfront bakery cafe, boasting an impressive scale and stunning interior design. Drawing inspiration from the German fairy tale "Town Musicians of Bremen," the interior is styled like a sophisticated gallery, offering the perfect spot to unwind while overlooking the vast East Sea. ✨ The Signature Carousel: The centerpiece of the first floor is a magnificent, brightly lit carousel. This isn't just any carousel—it was actually featured on stage with BTS, TWICE, and SEVENTEEN at the Golden Disc Awards. Today, it stands as the cafe's most iconic photo spot. 🌊 Panoramic Ocean Views & Rooftop: With floor-to-ceiling windows across all four levels, you can enjoy sweeping views of the Yeongildae coastline and its famous maritime pavilion from the second and third floors. On clear days, the rooftop opens up to offer an even more breathtaking, unobstructed perspective of the sea. 🥐 Gourmet Bakery & Signature Drinks: As a large-scale bakery, O'Bremen offers an array of eye-catching treats, from vibrant cakes to the colorful "Bremen Bagels." Their salt bread is a local favorite, and you shouldn't miss unique drinks like the "Merry-go-round," a signature pineapple-coconut ade. 🚗 Travel & Parking Tips: The cafe does not have private parking, so using the nearby Yeongildae No. 2 Public Parking Lot is recommended. Please note that for safety reasons, O'Bremen operates as a "No Kids Zone," restricted to students in middle school and above.

We watched another play at our favorite Theater of Illusions with the kids—The Bremen Town Musicians, a musical for both children and adults. This energetic production was packed with timely humor, vibrant costumes, captivating sets, and an overall brilliant performance by the cast. The characters and acting were a spot-on match for the personalities from the beloved animated film. The nostalgic songs from childhood were performed live, and the lead character, the Troubadour, had a particularly beautiful voice. The play featured original compositions and arrangements of music by Gennady Gladkov and lyrics by Yuri Entin, such as "Song of Friends" (“Nothing’s Better in the World”), the Troubadour and Princess duet, the Brigands’ Song, the King’s Guards’ Song, “Where Are You Headed,” "Such and Such," the Detective’s Song, "Ray of Golden Sun," "I Don’t Want Anything," the Villains’ Song "Piff-Paff," "Song of Distant Stars," and the lullaby “Lull-a-bye.” All the songs were paired with vibrant and dynamic dance performances. The show included regular interaction with the audience, featuring direct addresses and walks through the hall, which has become a signature touch for this theater. And, of course, being the Theater of Illusions, there were clever magic tricks seamlessly woven into the storyline to enhance the originality of the performance. The Bremen Town Musicians is a true family show that fills you with nostalgia. We had smiles on our faces the whole time. It’s the kind of play that you simply must recommend to everyone!

Next to Bremen Square is the famous Town Hall. It is difficult to find a complete set of municipal facilities. The interior space of this Town Hall is also quite large, and the classification and layout of municipal facilities are very good.
小鱼儿2015For people like us who like to visit the old town and see old buildings, the Schnoor neighborhood is very much to our liking. The streets are narrow, but the old houses are high and low, very layered, and the exterior walls can be said to be colorful and very beautiful.
