Banguo Earth Forest

Banguo Tulin is located 400 meters south of Pingtian Township, 18 kilometers west of Yuanmou County, with a total area of 14 square kilometers, which is the largest soil forest in Yuanmou. Since Banguo Tulin is a representative of the disabled hill stage in the old age, the height of the soil forest is generally 3－ 8 meters, and the highest is 12 meters. The soil columns of Banguo soil forest are sparsely distributed and the population is less. The main road of the Dasha River is 3,800 meters long, 60 to 100 meters wide, and the widest is 230 meters. There are more than 20 branches of the sand river on both sides. The surface of the sand river and the branch ditch is accumulated with thick gray and fine sand. It is a natural sports field for sports activities on the sand. Banguo Tulin is mainly column-shaped and solitary peak-shaped, with shapes like pagodas, some like bunkers, and some like Luohan. Due to the lack of water in the scenic area, the vegetation is poor and there is only a small amount of grass. That is why Banguo Tulin maintains the original style of the earthen forest, showing the majestic and spectacular earthen forest. The surface of the earth pillar of Banguo Tulin is mixed with shimmering quartz sand and onyx sand, like a gem set, in the sun, colorful. Banguo Tulin is also the main shooting site of Chen Kaige's "Infinity"!
