Arab St

This is not just a tourist attraction but an ethnic enclave and hangout for locals. There is an iconic mosque here and distinctive architecture. Plenty of eateries, with halal food and hipster cafes. Enjoy an afternoon here browsing the many quaint shops and sipping a local teh tarik (tea) or arabic mint tea.

Amongst the diversity found in Singapore, Arab Street shines as a special gem. I love strolling the alleys in this area - there are murals, small shops selling items you would not find elsewhere in Singapore. The food here is great too, although it is pricier than other local food places since this area caters more to tourists. The 100% Arabica coffee shop here is always busy and packed, but it’s a great place to recharge with some coffee. Arab Street is a wonderful place to chill and snap some awesome photos.

A must visit place for Muslim friends, with soo many delicious halal food options.

Arab Street ( Middle East Street) is a very distinctive street in Singapore. There are many Arab things. You can see the Sudan Mosque. The golden top is very popular. 🕌

An interesting place full of vibes. used to be populated by early days Arab immigrants. Today the streets are lined with shops selling carpets, tradition Muslim costumes and arts. There are also many food outlets featuring middle east cuisines.
