The Mara River is 395 kilometers long, most of which is located in Kenya, and a small half of which flows through Tanzania. The overlords of the Mara River are crocodiles and their helpless neighbor hippos. Although crocodiles are ferocious, the huge hippos are not fuel-efficient lamps. If there is no "Crossing of the Kingdom of Heaven" in August and September every year, then the entire Mara River is still Relatively calm, there are always birds resting on the trees by the river, and the scene couldn't be more harmonious. The spectacular "Paradise Crossing" is the very main reason why many people visit Kenya before. Every May and June, the Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania, which used to be rich in water and grass, gradually becomes deserted, and herds of wildebeest begin to migrate to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, where there are still edible grasses in the north. A very spectacular wildlife migration. Millions of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes cross the Mara River from the Serengeti National Park to the Masai Mara National Reserve, followed by lions and crocodiles to start the year's fruitful hunting. Wildebeests went one after another, desperately jumping into the Mara River, which was swollen by the rainy season. Crocodile bites, hippos attacked to protect their territory, and the migratory team trampled wildly. After crossing the river, large groups of troops always leave large corpses on the river. , thousands of vultures flew to the Mara River to feast on the rich table of lions and crocodiles. These herbivorous four-hoofed animals exchanged a small part of sacrifice for most of their successful migration. After crossing the river, it is the Masai Mara savannah with luscious water and grass. For them, it is the kingdom of heaven, so it is called the crossing of the kingdom of heaven. During the 3,000-kilometer annual migration, only 30 percent of wildebeest return to their place of origin due to hunger, thirst, exhaustion or predation by predators. But before the rainy season, another 400,000 new wildebeests were born. The birth of new life and the elimination of the weak go back and forth on the Mara River every year, endlessly.
When grass in the Tanzanian savannah was gradually consumed, the animals on the grasslands were searching for food, and they traveled 3,000 kilometers to Masai Mara in Kenya to find food. Along the way, they escape the fierce lions and leopards lying in wait on the grasslands, and they pass by the river and beware of alligators in the water.
Every June to October, tourists come in order to worship the magnificent sight of the Lion King leading his animal people to migrate on the African savannah. Masai Mara National Park is worth a visit
The Mara River is the largest river in the Masai Mara National Reserve and a river full of life. The flow of the river is very rapid, and the river is mixed with a lot of sediment. Thousands of horned horses migrate across this river every year, and the scene is spectacular and worth a visit.
The Mara River is a great place to watch the great migration of African animals. Thousands of horned horses and zebras cross the Mara River to find food, and at the same time, they must be prepared to keep the alligators in the Mara River. Zebras are timid and cross the river behind the horned horses every time. When I was a child, I saw it on TV many times, and when I was really in it, the shock of the ten thousand horses hit the heart, the original wild African land, people can't help but love.
The Mara River is the main battlefield of Mara, and the legendary scenes of the Great Migration of animals are all performed here. The river is not wide and beautiful. Those who come here often don't necessarily see the moment of the Great Migration. We stayed here for 3 days to wait for that moment. The first time I came to no avail, I didn't wait. I only saw a large number of hippos and crocodiles lurking in the river, and waited for their food as we did. On the last day, I came out early and went straight to the mouth of the Mala River. I saw a large number of horned horses and zebras already in line here. There was a large area of denseness on the grassland, and there were thousands of horses, but the waiting cars were also lined up, and there was almost no place for our car. Anyway, the driver master and others discussed and squeezed us half a parking space. Just parked, I saw that there were hornets and began to cross the river. At this time, everyone held their breath, afraid of scaring the leading hornets, looking forward to starting an exciting migration. The head horse wandered by the river for a while, drank some water, then jumped into the water, and swam hard to the other side. The horned horse followed closely and began a relatively large migration. The horned horse is a group animal. As long as there is a lead, there will be a large number of follow-ups later. Seeing the horned horses idle on the grassland, immediately running here, the road raised a dust, flying up the prairie above. It seems that other horned horses saw the signal. Thousands of horses ran to the mouth of the river, jumped into the river in a queue, and swam to the other side. It was like this that they walked for about 10 minutes, and basically ended the big wave of crossing the river. Fortunately, there were no crocodiles to prey. Without seeing the bloody thrill, and happy for the hornets, a migration was completed safely. There would be a rich grassland waiting for them on the other side. We ended our wild African trip and ended successfully.
The Mara River is the most anticipated place in Mara, from which the annual animal migration takes place. Every year in July and August, animals on the grasslands have to go through the Mala River to the more plump pastures on the other side. The Mala River is the only way to go. The river here is not wide, but it is often in crisis. There are crocodile hippos waiting in the water and waiting for the opportunity to catch (b) hunting. Every day, there will be bodies killed by them lying in the river, terrible, people here, looking forward to seeing the grand migration, and worried that the stupid hornets will be hurt, but people can't do anything, just onlookers, watching the scene of the Great Migration, praying in their hearts, Peace for all the living beings on earth.
The Masai Mara River is very interesting, a Masai River as a dividing line, this bank is Kenya, the other bank is Tanzania! Because you can see many crocodiles and hippos hidden in the water along the way, their skin and color are enough to make you think that it is a stone in the river, and there are many horned horses bitten across the river every year when the animals migrate, that is, they are hidden in the crocodiles. The survival law of the animal world, the survival of the fittest, the rhinos can be seen on the other side of the river in love, and the lions are playing.
