What is a Network Railcard?
The Network Railcard provides a 1/3 discount on most UK rail fares for those travelling in the South-East of England and London. This discount also applies to up to three additional adults (aged 16+), who each receive 1/3 off their fare, and up to four children (aged 5-15), who receive a 60% discount on their tickets when travelling with the named cardholder.
How much does the Network Railcard cost?
The Network Railcard costs just £30 for one year. Cardholders enjoy average annual savings of £138*, with unlimited usage during the one-year validity period.

Network Railcard Restrictions
The Network Railcard offers a 1/3 discount on most Off-Peak rail fares for travel across the UK. Below, you will find information on tickets, time restrictions, and the cheapest fares available. Take a look to plan your travel accordingly:
A cheapest fare of £13 applies to all journeys made from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. And the cheapest fare for Anytime Day Travelcards is £22.60 at all times.

The 26-30 Railcard covers the vast majority of Great Britain, whereas the Network Railcard only serves the South East of England and London, meaning the former has greater flexibility of use. However, the Network Railcard’s discount extends to up to four adults and four children, meaning more money can be saved on group journeys. Although the cost of the Railcards are the same at £30 for a year, there are more ticket restrictions for Network Railcards compared with 26-30 Railcards, including First Class and Advance tickets.

Coverage: The Network Railcard provides discounted travel within the South-East of England and London. It allows you to travel from any time on weekends and bank holidays, and from 10 am Monday to Friday.

Can you use the Network Railcard on the London Underground?
No, you cannot purchase Network Railcard discounted tickets for journeys solely on the London Underground and Docklands Light Railway. However, discounted tickets purchased for cross-London rail journeys that involve travel on the London Underground are permitted.
Can I get a discount on Season tickets with a Network Railcard?
No, a Network Railcard will not give you discounts on Season tickets, including Travelcards and Season Tickets.Can I use my Network Railcard to buy tickets for other people?
Yes, You can use your Network Railcard to buy tickets for others. Please note the whole journey only includes four adults aged 16 and above, and four children aged 5-15 at most. All passengers taking advantage of the Network Railcard discount must travel with the Railcard holder throughout the entire journey.
