Renfe Over-60s Fare

Renfe offers up to 40% discounts for those aged over 60 with the Tarjeta Dorada. The card costs €6 for one year, €12 for two years, and €15 for three years. If you are travelling on AVE and AVE international trains, you can get a 25% discount. For Avant trains, discounts vary between weekdays and weekends: 25% during weekdays and 40% on weekends. Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Renfe supports large families in Spain with discounted fares, offering 20% for general and 50% for special category families on AVE and Larga Distancia trains. The Elige Confort fare is somewhat more expensive than the Elige Estándar fare. The key difference lies in the wider seats and greater amount of leg room.

Prémium, being the most expensive fare, offers the advantage of unlimited free changes and refunds, and XL Confort Seating.
