Dreaming about buying a house in Puerto Rico? Here’s my fast-track travel guide to the island—packed with must-see spots and tips for anyone eyeing a move (or just wanting that perfect blend of beach life + vibrant culture) 🏝️✨

Top Spots to Visit:
Old San Juan: Walk the charming cobblestone streets and check out colorful colonial houses (address: Calle del Cristo, San Juan, PR). Explore Castillo San Felipe del Morro—open daily 9am–6pm.
Condado Beach: Catch epic sunsets, swim, and scout beachfront condos (located just east of Old San Juan).
El Yunque National Forest: Go for a hike amid waterfalls and lush greenery (address: PR-191, Rio Grande, PR; open 7:30am–5pm).
Santurce: For buzzing nightlife and urban art, visit Calle Loíza and grab dinner at La Placita after dark.

My house-hunting tip? Talk to locals, check out midweek open houses, and explore neighborhoods outside tourist areas for better deals—like Dorado or Isla Verde.

How to Get Around:
Skip the car rental—use trip.com to pre-book airport transfers and local taxis. The trolley in Old San Juan is free and loops the historic zone. Ride-sharing apps work but are pricier during peak hours.

Food Recommendations:
Hit Mercado Santurce for local eats—try mofongo and fresh seafood. Caficultura in Old San Juan is morning heaven for coffee + pastries.

Destination Tips:
No visa needed if you’re a US citizen; US dollars used everywhere; weather’s hot and humid (light clothes + sunscreen are a must!). Rain showers pop up, so pack a light jacket.

A must-stay in Puerto Rico! Caribbean Hilton with stunning sea views

“📍Caribe Hilton 🌊The hotel is right next to Condado Beach, within walking distance, and only 3 km from the airport, super convenient!”@TRENTON STEVENSON · 1 year ago
It's hard to forget that I was flying from New York, where there was some chill, to the surprise of being surrounded by a heat wave when San Juan was just off the plane. Even in some parts of the world, even in the snow, the Caribbean is still like the spring season.
One day in Puerto Rico, I can change my flight style (in fact, I was very tired when I played too high a few days ago). I didnt arrange any itinerary, it was only close to where I lived. Condado Beach (Condado Beach), blowing the sea breeze from the Caribbean, basking in the warm sun, listening to his favorite music that he brought to the iPod, reading a book that he has been dragging for a long time before he can taste it. Book, spend a whole day leisurely.
Occasionally look up, in addition to the blue sky and blue sky, there are also the men and women who come and go. If you dont hurry and dont worry, its the real holiday style.
