📅 Itinerary Day1:travelled from Cairns up the coast to Port Douglas, stops along the way: · Palm Cove-really great vibey place. Great to walk all along the coast. Excellent cafes and shops · Hartleys Crocodile Farm- much better than expected great fun for people of all ages · Four mile beach and Yorkeys Knob -beautiful coastline Day2: an absolute must is Mossman Gorge. Absolutely stunning. The 2.7km hike is not hard but you really do need to have some level of fitness to do it. It is simply stunning however if you can only just get to see the rock pools 🏨 Accommodation - we stayed at the Mantra Inlet in Port Douglas. Good basic room and cheap but not recommended if you don’t like stairs. 🍴 Food Recommendations -don’t miss the Tin Shed. The food was excellent, great value with stunning views of the sunset 📌 Tips - we went up to The Daintree village but it was a waste of time. I would give it a miss
