Outside of prayer, the main building is open to tourists, but follow the custom of men going to the male prayer room and women going to the female prayer room. The two prayer rooms are separated by screens under the dome. Suddenly I saw that some tourists wanted to enter the east side room. The master Aqi, who was guiding the male and female tourists, quickly shouted "Man, Man" while running to stop. The tourists who were used to freedom were like "invaders" to make Master Aqi crazy. It is said that the oldest Quran is still in the temple, and if there is, it seems that it should be in the east door guarded by Master Ajuan. Walk inside, through a large square, and the interior of the ancient building is now opened as a souvenir shop selling high-quality Uzbekistan crafts."Tashkent8.1 km from downtownMosquesHistorical SitesHighlights: The Hazrati Imam Mosque in the old city is the largest mosque in Tashkent and is still well preserved today.Show Less
