"It is a historic Gurudwara and is located in Old Delhi near Chandni Chowk. Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib is located near the Delhi metro and is next to a Mosque and a Temple. Don’t forget to have the ‘langar’ when you visit this place. As a tourist, you must visit Old Delhi and explore the bits you won’t see anywhere else in the world."

Highlights: Hisganji Guru, located in New Delhi, India, is a very famous local religious site. According to legend, the ninth master of Sikhism, Deg Bahadur, was beheaded here by the order of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb because he refused to convert to Islam. Before his body was dismembered and displayed to the public, he was stolen by one of his disciples at night and set fire to his own house to cremate Bahadur's body. In this place, another monastery, GurdwaraRakabGanjSahib, was built. Bahadur's severed head was taken to Anandpur Sahib by another of his disciples to be cremated by Bahadur's son, the tenth generation of Sikhs. This place is also the Hiskanji Guru.
