Overall, it was really great. I was taking photos at the bonfire party when a staff member, looking after her child, led the way in line – we were very lucky. The day before, it rained at Shapotou, so the camels weren't running, but the hotel did. The next day, we went camel riding and were lucky enough to ride white camels (the staff arranges camels based on their condition; there was a child ahead of us who wanted to ride a white camel, but because they were with their mother, the staff worried they wouldn't be able to handle it, so they didn't let them. My child rode the white camel by themselves).
Back to the hotel, the food was excellent. The tents were hot during the day and cold at night, but they were clean, and there were electric blankets at night, which was very nice. In short, it was a wonderful experience.
