Amalienborg Palace
Amalienborg is where the Danish royal family lives. During the reign of Christian VII in 1794, a fire broke out in Christiansborg, forcing the royal family to relocate to Amalienborg for refuge. Rosenborg Castle

The Little Mermaid
The Little Mermaid statue is located in the Long Beach Park in the northeast of Copenhagen, Denmark. A must-see when visiting Viborg is this cathedral. I didn't get in because it was too early; it opens at 11 a.m., so I planned my visit accordingly. The art inside is truly breathtaking, and I left feeling a bit disappointed. It's also close to the lake, so if you spend more time exploring, you can get a good feel for the area in just two hours. It's all wonderful, and it feels like stepping back into the Middle Ages.

Nyhavn, Denmark is a landmark attraction in Copenhagen. It is an artificial canal built between 1669 and 1673. The canal is lined with colorful townhouses from the 17th and 18th centuries, which are rich in color and form a unique landscape. Stunning gardens and flowers. Beautiful scenery. Amongst rides good choice of food. Able to leave and return providing wrist is stamped. Not too long queues. Open till 10pm as Tiivoli lights up.

On the way to see the Little Mermaid, I happened to catch the changing of guards at the gate of Amalienborg. Since we couldn't enter, we just watched the changing of guards for a while. The soldiers marched in unison, and the unique ceremony looked quite interesting, attracting many tourists to stop and watch.

It's suitable for young children to play. My favorite part is the microscopic world, which is very shocking! The most amazing thing is that I actually saw the BYD booth. Big manufacturers are really generous.

The park is the best part of the castle. It’s stunning with lots of trees and flowers. To enter the castle, you need to buy a ticket stick to time. So it’s best to book online first. It takes about 1h to see inside of the castle.

I visited the Little Mermaid statue in Denmark on a solo trip during winter. The cold breeze from the sea and the quiet atmosphere made the experience feel even more magical. The statue itself is smaller than I expected, but its delicate expression and connection to Andersen’s fairytale give it a unique charm. Since it was off-season, there weren’t many tourists, which allowed me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It’s a simple yet iconic landmark worth seeing at least once.
