Peace Arch Provincial Park

Peace Arch Provincial Park (PeaceArchProvincialPark) is more of a symbol and a memorial. This park is located at the southern end of Highway 99, on the US-Canada border. It is composed of PeaceArchProvincialPark in Canada in the north and PeaceArchStatePark in Washington State in the south. In the middle is the border line and the iconic building PeaceArch-a symbol of friendship between the United States and Canada. The Peace Arch was built to commemorate the centenary of the Treaty of Ghent signed between the United States and the United Kingdom in 1814. The arch was completed in 1921 as a peace symbol. The arch is a Greek-style building, about 30 meters high. The lintel on the Canadian side reads: Brethren DwellingTogether in Unity (Brethren Unite), and the lintel on the American side reads: Childrenofa CommonMother (Children of the same mother). These are two inspiring words and the common wish of peace-loving people. Today, the more than 6,000 kilometers of the US-Canada border line under the arch is a long undefended border line, as the saying on the east side of the door: "MayTheseGatesNeverClose".Surrey · 16.5 km from Township of Langley

Baishi Town is named after a huge white stone standing by the sea, and there are many beautiful legends about this white stone. The tall mountains on the border between the United States and Canada block the airflow on the Pacific Ocean, making the town of Baishi in the bay good weather. The geographical advantage of being surrounded by the sea on three sides and the mountains on the other side makes the residential area built on the slope bathed in sufficient sunlight. In addition to Shiraishi, the other distinctive features are the ancient wooden trestle bridges that extend into the sea for 480 meters. The geometric straight line formed by the train tracks and the trestle bridge by the sea has become a popular town for locals.White Rock · 18.6 km from Township of Langley

Capilano Suspension BridgeLocated in North Vancouver, the 137-meter-long suspension bridge is suspended 70 meters in the air. It is one of the highest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world. More than 100 years ago, it was built by local aborigines using hemp ropes and thick wooden planks. Under the bridge is the fast-flowing Capilano River. When the wind blows through the valley, the suspension bridge sways and makes a sound that sounds like a person's laughter, so it is also called the "Laughing Bridge." 1. Natural scenery The suspension bridge spans the Capilano River and a large area of dense forest. Walking on the suspension bridge, you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of the forest, but also have a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the nearby river valley. You are completely surrounded by nature. If you are lucky, you can also see the gorgeous rainbow caused by the river water vapor. 2. Adventure Experience Cliff Walk: A glass walkway is built between vertical cliffs. There is a deep abyss under your feet, and looking out at the distant scenery from above becomes a thrilling experience. Treetop Adventure: A road is connected by iron ropes and wooden planks halfway up a giant tree, dozens of meters above the ground. You can feel the breath of nature in the forest. 3. History and Culture Near the suspension bridge stands a totem pole representing the culture of Canada's "First Nations" Aboriginal Indians, which is worth stopping to take a look. In the carved wooden house near the store, you can also see Indian carvers demonstrating their carving skills.North Vancouver · 50.2 km from Township of Langley

FlyOver Canada is an immersive flight simulator located at Canada Place in downtown Vancouver, taking you on a "suspended flight" to see the landscapes of Canada from beginning to end. After settling into a motion seat that dives and climbs with the screen, your feet dangle in the air while a giant spherical screen with a diameter of about 20 m appears before you. Accompanied by wind blowing in your face, fine water mist, and scents from the scenes, you even feel a chill during the winter shots, making you feel as if you have truly been lifted into the high sky. The current featured film, "Awaken Canada," spans the entire country: starting from the Arctic ice fields, diving into deep ice caves, brushing past narwhals in the water, and then sweeping over old-fashioned sailing boats off the coast of Nova Scotia, the peaks of the Yukon, the sand dunes of Saskatchewan, as well as skiers leaping on the snowy slopes of Quebec's old city and frozen waterfalls in the Rockies. In addition to this signature film, there are other flight films themed around the Rocky Mountains that you can choose to add based on your interests.Vancouver · 46.6 km from Township of Langley

Canada Place is a landmark building in Vancouver, located in Downtown Vancouver, originally the pier of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Construction began in 1983, and in 1986 it opened as the Canada Pavilion for Expo 86. The building was designed by Eberhard Zeidler, and its distinctive topside feature is five sets of white fiberglass sails that resemble a sailing ship, similar in design to the Sydney Opera House, making it very striking. Its interior is a mixed-use complex, and it is also the main cruise terminal for the south coast of British Columbia, with cruises to Alaska departing from here. In addition, as a tourism hub that combines leisure, experiences, and services, it contains many must-visit attractions. The plaza's "FlyOver Canada" is Canada's only 4D simulated flight attraction, allowing visitors to have an immersive experience of traveling across Canada.Vancouver · 46.7 km from Township of Langley

The bridge was very scary because the each side doesn’t balance . My youngest child was a little overwhelmed, when we were trying to walk the bridge was shaking a lot. Therefore it is worth it for an experience for my kids.🤗😅😃😁

Fort Langley, as a historical and cultural site, is worth a visit. It analyzes the historical testimony of North American Indians. Indians are the founders of the most primitive society in North America. They are engaged in hunting, farming and animal husbandry. In places like Fort Langley, trading stations are used as bases for barter trade. So Indians are great.

Strolling beneath the white sail-shaped roofs of Canada Place, I felt like I was sailing in the harbor! The five-sail building reflecting the shimmering waters of the bay was so stunning that I couldn't help but snap a dozen photos from different angles. Walking along the wooden walkway, watching seaplanes take off and land and seagulls fight over fries was truly captivating. I also stopped by the FlyOver Canada experience center, where the 4D flight simulator over the snow-capped mountains was incredibly realistic! The evening sun painted the harbor a molten hue. I sat on the steps, munching on ice cream and watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, lost in thought for an hour. My only complaint was the strong wind that tangled my hair—but that's Vancouver's effortless charm, huh?
