The bridge is approx. 100 m long, connecting the entertainment center at one end and the Valley of Waves at the other, and it is also a must-pass route for visitors entering and exiting the Lost City park. Walking onto the bridge, the eye-catching features on both sides are pairs of majestic elephant sculptures. Lion & Safari Park is located in the suburbs of Hartbeespoort, South Africa, and is a popular wildlife destination around Johannesburg and Pretoria. The park features vast grasslands and a natural ecological environment. Upon entering, the expansive African savanna landscape is impressive, with large stretches of golden grass interspersed with low shrubs, and rolling hills occasionally visible in the distance, presenting a typical Southern African natural landscape. The park focuses on wildlife viewing, with the various predator activity areas being a representative natural feature. Lions are the stars here. Visitors can enter designated areas in their own vehicles or on safari trucks provided by the park to observe lion prides at close range in a relatively natural environment. In the sunlight, lions sometimes lie lazily on the grass to rest, or slowly pace around to patrol their territory; the thick manes and majestic figures of the male lions are particularly striking.Hartbeespoort · 95 km from Sun City

Church Square

46 reviews
Church Square is a historic square in the old city of Pretoria. It served as a market and church site since the city's founding. Farmers once drove ox wagons here to sell their produce, and the square's name is derived from the church that once stood in the center. Today, a bronze statue of Paul Kruger stands in the center of the square. The statue depicts him in traditional attire, holding a walking stick, with four bronze statues of Boer citizen soldiers standing around the base. It was created by sculptor Anton van Wouw and officially placed in the center of the square in 1954. The square is surrounded by historic buildings constructed between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Palace of Justice on the north side once hosted the Rivonia Trial, while the Old Council Chamber on the south side was the meeting place of the old republic. Other preserved buildings in the vicinity include the Old General Post Office, the Tudor Chambers, and the old Netherlands Bank building. Walking along the square, you can see historic facades and decorative details of various architectural styles. Today, the square remains a public space for citizens to rest and gather, with benches set under the shade of trees and cafes and small restaurants located nearby. The square is well-lit during the day, making it perfect for observing the facades, carvings, and columns of the surrounding historic buildings, or for appreciating the Kruger statue and surrounding architecture from different angles.South Africa · Pretoria

Jakaranda Cl is known for its rows of jacaranda trees. Native to South America, jacarandas were introduced to the area in the late 19th century and gradually planted along the city streets, making their purple-blue blossoms part of the urban scenery of Tshwane (Pretoria). Every spring in the Southern Hemisphere, the trees begin to bloom, with their canopies intertwining above the roads to form a continuous corridor of purple and blue. During the flowering season, clusters of blossoms cover the branches, while petals drift down and spread across the roads and sidewalks, adding soft colours to the streetscape. The streets around the embassy district also feature dense rows of jacaranda trees, offering lovely views when the flowers are in bloom. The flowering season usually lasts for several weeks in spring, and the changing scenes of blossoms and falling petals give this tree-lined avenue a distinctive seasonal character.South Africa · Pretoria

The Time Bridge in Sun City is located in the center of Sun City Amusement Park. This bridge is also called the Earthquake Bridge. When you pass through this bridge, it will make a loud rumbling sound, giving people a feeling of shaking the earth. In fact, this design is also to commemorate the indomitable spirit of Sun City, which was destroyed in the earthquake but miraculously rebuilt. It is also a place that every tourist who comes to Sun City must experience.

"Visited the iconic Union Buildings in Tshwane, and I was absolutely captivated by its grandeur and history. As the seat of South Africa’s government, the architecture is a breathtaking blend of classical and Cape Dutch styles. The panoramic views from the hilltop are unmatched, and the beautifully landscaped gardens add to the peaceful atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone in Pretoria, it's a powerful reminder of South Africa’s journey towards democracy and unity.

We visited wildlife parks near Johannesburg, the most famous of which was the Lion Park. There are many wildlife parks in South Africa, and the types of wild animals are also very complete. However, there are some problems with the security in Johannesburg, so we need to be vigilant.

I got up early to buy some Chinese ingredients in Johannesburg Chinatown, and I saw such nostalgic items in the store! I haven't used this to mash garlic for more than 20 years, and I'm not sure what it is called in Mandarin [囧] It seems to be "怼窝儿" in my hometown dialect? [笑] The first thing I did when I got home was to make garlic-mashed cucumber salad. It seems that the garlic-mashed cucumber salad tastes better. Someone was satisfied today that he actually bought very fresh grouper. He is studying how to make steamed crabs and braised lobster tails. They are really like restaurant chefs. They are awesome 👍🏻 And every time I go to Chinatown, I go mainly for the leeks. I quickly make leek boxes and freeze them when I come back. They are enough for me for two weeks this weekend. It's almost perfect.

Oh, it is a large city in South Africa, not far from the capital. The whole city also benefits from the development of gold mine resources. It is a resource-rich city. The environment of the square is quite good, and many white people live here.

I went to South Africa once in 2015 and made a special trip to see the blue flowers. It was in bloom at the time and was very beautiful. Tourists stopped to take pictures, and I was no exception. I took a lot of pictures. The flowering period is highly seasonal. I would like to come to South Africa once in my lifetime if I have the chance.

The Johannesburg Botanical Gardens in South Africa was built on the basis of Jan Van Riebeeck Park in 1969. At that time, the overall design of the plant planting in the entire park was based on 42 families of trees as the framework, and other plants were planted according to their ecological habits and ornamental characteristics.

Irene Dairy Farm is a lovely place to spend a day. There is lots of room for kids to run around and play. The food is tasty, coffee is good and the atmosphere is very relaxed. There are cows for the children to visit, and one can even see the process of milking a cow. If you are looking for a nice place to spend a Sunday or Saturday I would consider making the trip to the Irene Dairy farm
