The 12th-century castle on the island blends Norman and Victorian styles, housing antique armor and coastal defense batteries. Its rooftop offers stunning views of Mounts Bay. Lush subtropical gardens and the remains of the legendary giant Cormoran add to the mystical atmosphere. The best experience is to check the tides before walking to the island (or taking a boat).
