Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium

8.1
4.8/5
1.5k reviews
Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium is a highly prestigious professional Muay Thai venue in Bangkok, regarded alongside Lumpinee Stadium as one of Thailand's two main modern Muay Thai arenas. The stadium began construction in 1941 but was halted due to material shortages during World War II, resuming after the war and hosting its first match only by the end of 1945. Initially an open-air venue without a roof, it was fitted with a concrete roof in 1951 and has undergone multiple renovations and upgrades since. Today, it stands as a modern enclosed stadium, embodying a condensed history of Thailand's professional Muay Thai. The gym hosts frequent matches year-round. On fight days, professional fighters from across Thailand compete here for the gym's own rankings and championship titles. Unlike performance-oriented bouts for travelers, these are real fights that count toward professional records: fighters wear mongkon headbands and perform ritual dances to traditional music before the match—the elaborate wai khru ceremony is worth arriving early to witness. During fights, every sweep kick and knee strike lands with full force in high-intensity clashes, so be mentally prepared. Each seating area offers a distinct experience—ringside seats provide close-up action, while the upper stands are packed with local veteran fans who roar with every powerful hit, creating waves of cheers that let you experience Muay Thai in its rawest form.Thailand · Bangkok

We had a lot of fun at Erawan Falls but it was a very long drive. There are 7 levels of waterfalls and quite a hike. We only reached the 6th level but was very satisfied. You can swim on each level but need to rent a life jacket.

I am very impressed with the stalactites. The stalactites are very complete and sparkling. There are 6 points for everyone to see the stalactites in various shapes. The inside is wide and you can walk along the stairs. Every time you go in, there must be an officer to go in with you. There is no light inside. It is very dark. You must use a flashlight. To come and see the cave, you have to walk up about 600 meters.

Kan City, a charming city, has many tourist attractions. One of the highlights is the Srinakarin Dam. Here, there is a raft in the middle of the water to play on and there are many activities. I must say that it is really fun.

We had a great experience at the Sanctuary of Truth! The complimentary guided tour was very informative, with detailed explanations of the museum’s history and the meaning behind its carvings. We could also watch the woodcarving being done in person, which made the visit even more interesting. There were designated photo spots too, so it was easy to find good places to take pictures. Definitely worth a visit!

Watching live Muay Thai for the first time was such an incredible experience. The atmosphere was electric—full of energy, excitement, and raw intensity. We were even lucky enough to catch a knockout during our session, which made the whole night absolutely unforgettable.
