Siberia Tiger Park in Heilongjiang is located on the north bank of the Songhua River in Harbin and officially opened to the public in 1996. It is a themed park integrating Siberian tiger breeding, scientific research and conservation, science education, and tourism. The park features several visiting areas, including the free-roaming zone, walking zone, tiger viewing platform, feeding and science education center, maple plaza, and cub playground. The free-roaming zone requires visitors to ride a tour bus through the area, where, under safe guidance, they can observe herds of Siberian tigers up close, watch them being fed, and feel the thrill of tigers pacing, staring, and even approaching the bus windows. The other areas can be explored on foot. In addition to purebred Siberian tigers, the park is also home to various rare felines, including white tigers, white lions, ligers, leopards, caracals, servals, and leopard cats. At the cub playground, visitors can see tiger cubs and lion cubs, making it a favorite spot for families. The park features distinct scenery across the four seasons, with winter and summer being particularly outstanding. In winter, amidst the blanket of white snow, the brightly colored Siberian tigers stand out strikingly against the snowy backdrop; in summer, with lush vegetation, tiger tracks can be seen everywhere, offering a unique touch of wild charm.

The Yabuli Primeval Forest Hiking Trail is located in the Yabuli Ski Resort, at the exit of the Guokui Mountain Scenic Area, and adjacent to the major ski resorts in Yabuli. The Yabuli Primeval Forest is a well-preserved forest with various rare local tree species, including birch forests growing on meadows. The entire route is about 2.5 kilometers and takes only about 1 hour.

Spanning over 800,000 square meters, this is officially the largest ice and snow theme park in the world. Walking through the gates feels like stepping directly into a real-life, glowing neon version of Disney’s Frozen. But let’s be entirely honest: it is also an extreme environment. Wandering around massive blocks of ice when the temperature drops past -25°C requires serious preparation. Here is my definitive blog review and ultimate survival guide to conquering this frozen masterpiece. • The Colossal Ice Castles: The park centers around architectural wonders—towering pagodas, gothic cathedrals, and futuristic structures lit up from the inside by miles of embedded, multi-colored LED lights.• The 500-Meter Ice Slide: The undisputed king of the park’s activities. Rocketing down a half-kilometer track made entirely of smooth ice is an absolute rush.• The Ferris Wheel: A massive observation wheel that lifts you high above the park, offering a breathtaking, panoramic view of the entire

We brought the kids to Harbin during the spring break. The tiger park isn't too big; 2-3 hours is enough. There are adult tigers and cubs. We even saw the famous tiger cub, Tiger 2! We went early in the morning, and before the tigers were full, we bought some beef to feed them, which the kids loved! The acrobatic performance inside the tiger park is a must-see; it's fantastic!
