Shah Alam is a model town located 25 kilometers southwest of Kuala Lumpur, where tree-lined roads; beautiful parks and modern buildings are scattered. The more famous scenic spot is the splendid Sultan Salahuddin Abbul Aziz Shah Moaque, also known as the "Blue Mosque", because of its large blue dome and its blue and white dome. A mosque in Anan. The construction of the mosque was initiated by the then Selangor Sultan Sultan Salahuddin in 1974, started in 1982, and completed on March 11, 1988. The Selangor State Mosque combines Malaysian and modernist architectural styles. It is ingenious in construction, with blue and white as the main color, and its spectacular appearance makes people feel solemn. It can hold 24,000 people and is second only to the Istiklal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia in Southeast Asia. The shiny dome of the mosque is paved with blue aluminum and measures 51.2 meters in diameter and 106.7 meters high. The main prayer hall has two floors and is covered with red carpets, which is of high artistic value. The four minarets outside the Selangor State Mosque are 142.3 meters high, second only to the minaret of Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco.

National Mosque of Malaysia is located right next to the old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and is situated in the green space beside the Lake Gardens. It was completed in 1965. "Negara" means "national" in Malay, and the name commemorates the new nation's peaceful path to independence. Unlike common mosques with onion-shaped domes, it follows a clean and crisp modernist style, using concrete and marble to create a sense of open space, making it stand out among the city's many old Moorish-style buildings. The main dome of the prayer hall is particularly worth seeing: the 16-pointed star-shaped concrete roof resembles a giant open umbrella, radiating outward from the center. Beside it stands a minaret approx. 73 m high, with a top that looks like a closed umbrella, often described by visitors as resembling a rocket. The entire complex can accommodate over 10,000 worshippers at once. After major renovations in the 1980s, the roof was tiled with blue and green tiles, which pair neatly with the white columns.
