Gizlikent Selalesi

Gizlikent Selalesi

Gizlikent Selalesi is located in Seydikemer, Muğla Province, Türkiye, and is a natural attraction characterized by clear streams and waterfall views. Hidden in a valley surrounded by lush vegetation, the site requires visitors to descend wooden stairs and then walk through a stream to reach the waterfall. The path to the waterfall is about 200–300m long, requiring visitors to walk over wet rocks, with water levels reaching ankle or knee height in some areas, adding a sense of exploration to the visit. The waterfall cascades down between the rocks, forming a cool pool below, and the surrounding environment remains in a relatively natural state. Visitors can enjoy the sound of flowing water, valley vegetation, and cool air here, making it suitable for short hikes, photography, and connecting with nature. The experience of visiting Gizlikent Selalesi is not just about viewing the waterfall itself, but about gradually approaching the destination by walking along the stream. There is a rest area near the entrance of the attraction, providing a simple space for visitors to stop. The overall environment combines streams, rock walls, and forest views, showcasing the unique natural valley landscape of the Seydikemer region.Seydikemer · 19.2 km from downtown

Oludeniz Beach

Oludeniz Beach is located in Fethiye on the southwest coast of Türkiye. The name "Dead Sea" is translated from the Turkish "Ölüdeniz," referring to the bay's year-round calm waters—even when the open sea is rough, the water enclosed by the sandbar remains as calm as a mirror, and it has no relation to the high-salinity Dead Sea in the Middle East. A curved sandbar separates the open sea from the Blue Lagoon on the inside: the outer beach faces the open sea, while the inner lagoon is shallow and clear, transitioning from turquoise to sapphire blue, with pine-covered hillsides all around, creating a picture-perfect scene of blue, white, and green.Fethiye · 32.6 km from Seydikemer

Oludeniz

Turkey's Dead Sea is located in Oludeniz, south of Fethiye. Although the place name is chilling, it has a soft sandy beach that is enough to enjoy the style of the Mediterranean coast. Changing rooms, shower rooms, and open-air bars are also available. Typical of Turkish European beaches. A big turn of the Mediterranean Sea on Turkey's long and tortuous southwestern coastline has created the huge Turkish Dead Sea. The entire coast is surrounded by mountains, forming a calm and waveless lagoon. Because the water here is calm and the reflection in the water is almost still, it is named "Dead Sea". This is a natural beach in southwestern Turkey, you can swim, but the beach is pebbled, so it is recommended to wear beach shoes. In addition, paragliding is also a popular sport here. When you fly into the air, you will experience peace and tranquility. The feeling of integration with the blue sky, blue sea, green mountains and white sand is very wonderful.Fethiye · 33 km from Seydikemer

Butterfly Valley

Butterfly Valleyis a nearly isolated canyon on the coast of Fethiye, backed by Babadağ Mountain, with steep cliffs 200–300m high plunging almost vertically into the sea, and the valley floor hides a small pebble beach and a bay of clear, turquoise water. The valley is inaccessible by road, and most visitors arrive by island-hopping boat from Oludeniz, a trip of about half an hour, often arranged as an early stop on these tours. The valley is named after the Jersey tiger moths and other butterflies that inhabit it. In midsummer, they gather in swarms deep in the canyon. You often won't see them if you stay only on the beach. To find them, you need to hike along the trail inside the valley, passing through dense vegetation, accompanied by streams, shade, and birdsong along the way. At the end is a clear spring waterfall, and that cool, moist valley area is where the butterflies gather.Fethiye · 34.2 km from Seydikemer
Fethiye Old Town
No. 1 of Night Attractions in Mugla Province

Fethiye Old Town

5.5
Fethiye Old Town is the old bazaar district of Fethiye, a small city on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Türkiye, and one of the few areas in the city that retained its old buildings after the 1957 earthquake. Today, it has been converted into a pedestrian zone, with terracotta-colored cobblestone alleys spreading out around the central square. Vines hang down from above the alleys, weaving a natural canopy of shade, and the old stone houses on both sides have mostly been converted into shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is leisurely during the day, and it is much more comfortable to stroll through in midsummer than under the scorching sun by the sea. Shopping is the highlight of the old town. Carpets, kilim rugs, textiles, mosaic glass lamps, leather goods, and gold and silver jewelry are packed into every small shop. There are also antique shops and cooperatives selling local honey, while the sweet scent of spice shops and Turkish delight shops follows you along the way. If you get tired of walking, you can choose a traditional restaurant to sit down and order a kiln-baked pide or a few home-style stews. Alternatively, you can go to the fish market on the side of the old town to select the day's catch and have it cooked on the spot by nearby restaurants. This way of choosing your own ingredients and having them cooked fresh is an experience many tourists come specifically to enjoy. The old town takes on a different look in the evening, with tables and chairs from cafes and restaurants set out on the streets. After nightfall, bars and traditional taverns take over, making this the center of the city's nightlife. Tourists who love photography should keep an eye out for the alleyways hung with colorful umbrellas and the paths shaded by vines, both of which are popular photo spots in the old town. If you get tired of walking, you can also visit the 16th-century Ottoman bathhouse in the district to experience a traditional Turkish bath.Fethiye · 31.8 km from Seydikemer

Kaş

Kaş is nestled along the Lycian coast of the Mediterranean in Türkiye, built upon the ruins of the ancient city of Antiphellos. It is a harbor town that blends Greek charm with remnants of Lycian civilization. Before the population exchange between Greece and Türkiye in 1923, a large number of Greek residents lived here, and the old town still retains the blue-and-white stone houses and cobblestone alleys they left behind. The town is a renowned diving destination in Türkiye, with shipwreck sites and aircraft wreckage scattered along the coast—including a well-preserved Dakota DC-3 transport plane wreck that you can enter and explore, as well as underwater canyons, reefs, and steep rock walls. The underwater visibility is excellent, and while diving, you may occasionally spot groupers, octopuses, and sea turtles. Beyond diving, taking a boat trip is a signature experience here; you can gaze at the semi-submerged ruins of the Sunken City of Kekova along the coastline, or take a short ferry ride for a day trip to the Greek island of Kastellorizo, which is just across the water. Several Lycian rock tombs and sarcophagi are scattered throughout the town and on the hillsides, with a 4th-century BC lion-shaped sarcophagus being particularly striking. The town also preserves an ancient open-air theater, where you can sit on the stone steps and look out over the azure sea. The old town is compact, making it easy to explore the main attractions on foot. The streets are lined with shops selling handicrafts and Mediterranean snacks, perfect for slowing down and soaking in the atmosphere.Kas · 52.2 km from Seydikemer

If you have come to Fethiye for a holiday or you have been on your way, finally separate the children and stop by Saklıkent. Transportation to Saklıkent takes about 45 kilometers from Fethiye. This road is also the Antalya-Kaş road. In fact, Saklıkent Canyon is located on the borders of Antalya and Muğla. The Eşen Stream, which forms the border of these two provinces, is actually the source that takes from Akdağlar and gives life to Saklıkent Canyon

It was a fantastic experience. The customer service was incredibly reliable, promptly answering and resolving any questions. The local supplier we arranged was also incredibly reliable. The pilot, with over 20 years of flying experience and a keen sharer, created an unforgettable experience. A highly recommended and reliable choice!

This is a very beautiful bay, the sea water is blue, like a striking piece of turquoise. The Turks like the color blue very much, and their souvenirs are blue eyes, which are said to ward off evil spirits. Most of the beaches here are for locals to vacation. This beach is said to be a popular beach on the Internet.

Turkey's Dead Sea is located in Oludeniz, south of Fethiye. The Dead Sea in Fethiye is different from the Dead Sea in Israel. It is not the Dead Sea where no life can survive in the water due to high salt content. Instead, in Oludeniz, surrounded by mountains, the long and winding coastline divides the Mediterranean Bay into two. The Mediterranean Sea on the outside is turbulent, but the bay on the inside is calm and quiet, as if frozen, so it is called the Dead Sea.

If you want to reach Butterfly Valley, you can only take a boat or walk down from a small village above. This village is called Faraya Village. There is a beautiful beach and a dense jungle canyon, which is very suitable for a slow walk. However, if you come by boat, since it is just an attraction on the way, the stay time is not long, but it is enough to walk around.
