Nanji Islands
The Nanji Islands are located in the southeastern part of Pingyang County, Zhejiang Province. They consist of 52 islands with beautiful ocean scenery and good ecological preservation. It is one of the world biosphere reserves designated by UNESCO. Nanji Island is divided into three major scenic areas: Dasha, Sanpanwei and Zhuyu Baiyu, containing 75 tourist attractions. The island has a unique ecological environment, diverse biological species and abundant shellfish and seaweed resources. Nanji was a training grounds recovered from Taiwan by Zheng Chenggong. Nanji Islands-Dasha'ao Beach
Nanji Islands-Dasha'ao Beach is flanked by mountains on both sides and is the island's iconic natural beach. What makes it special is the sand itself: it is not ordinary fine quartz sand, but shell sand formed by the long-term erosion and grinding of marine shellfish remains by waves. It feels soft and delicate under bare feet, and glimmers under the sun on clear days. This sea area is known as the "Kingdom of Shells and Algae." Sanpanwei
Nanji Mountain extends to the southeast with Touyu, Eryu, and Sanyu. According to the level of the hills, there are Toupan, Erpan, and Sanpan, which extend to the southeast of Nanji Island. This is where the name Sanpanwei comes from. It is a good place to watch the sea view on Nanlu Island. South Yandang Mountain National Scenic Area
Nanyandang Mountain is located in the west of Pingyang County, including five major scenic spots: Dongxidong, Shunxi, Chouxi, Shicheng and Dongyu. Although it shares the same lineage as the popular North Yandang Mountain, it is separated by more than 100 kilometers. It takes about a day or two to play the entire Nanyandang. The core scenic spots are Dongxidong and Shunxi, and the other areas have basically not undergone any tourism development. Dongdongdong Scenic Spot is characterized by caves. Entering the scenic spot, you can take a cable car (25 yuan for one way, 40 yuan for round trip) to the place where Dongdongdong Scenic Spot is close to Huiwen Academy. Or take a bamboo raft from Bixi Ferry, and the ferry ticket is about 5 yuan for a distance of 50 meters. Among them, the essence of the must-see is the East Cave, West Cave, Huiwen Academy, Meiyu Waterfall, plus the mountain road from Sandai Taoist Temple to Guanyin Cave. It takes about 5-6 hours to walk through these landscapes at a leisurely pace. The Shunxi Scenic Spot is about 15 kilometers away from Dongxidong, and there are buses to go there, mainly to see Baiyun Waterfall. The accommodation is generally in Shuitou Town, there are many hotels in the town, and ordinary standard rooms range from 80-120 yuan. It is a beautiful place on the main island of Nanji Island to watch the sunrise and the sea view. Sanpanwei is composed of three connected stone hills.
