【Muscat Sultanate Palace】 ‎قصر العلم Al Alam Palace is a palace in the old city of Muscat, the capital of Oman, and is one of the six palaces of the Sultan of Oman. The history of this palace is more than 200 years. It was first built by Sultan bin Ahmed. The front of the building is gold and blue and was built in 1972. The palace is not open to the public now, and tourists can only take pictures at the door. The Sultan of Oman uses this palace as a place to receive distinguished guests and hold ceremonies, such as Sultan Qaboos bin Said met Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands here in 2012. The souk consists of several small stores that mainly sell traditional and local Omani products and crafts like Omani daggers, traditional clothes, silver crafts and jewellery, pottery and local food.

Wherever I go, I will visit a museum if I have time.

It's so peaceful, natural, and relaxing to hike in this valley (wadi in Arabic) the water is beautiful and you can definitely/must swim in it The hike is 3 out of 5 when it comes to it's difficulty. And if you really want to reach the end you need to swim a bit to find the waterfall like an adventure.

The Sandy beach is recommend to spend time with family or partner. there are hotels cafes, and restaurants by the beach. for good experience, visit on early morning till 11 am, or evening ofter 4:30. Nov-Mar is best time visit.

If you go in the evening, the scenery is very beautiful. I had a lot of fun watching the various events.

The design is very good, very good, and worth recommending.

Muscat Royal Opera House, a very exquisite new theater, with white exterior walls and tiles that are very noble, and there are supporting commercial areas and high-end restaurants around it. If you are lucky, you can visit the performance rehearsal, but you are not allowed to take pictures. I thought I could enter for free, but later a local brother reminded me to buy a ticket (at first he wanted us to give him cash, but later we insisted that he take us to the ticket office, 3 riyals per person)
