Angel Bay is adjacent to the English Promenade, named after the shape of the wings of an angel. It is a very beautiful beach in France and a good place to spend summer. Climbing up the castle and overlooking from the east is a better angle to appreciate Angel Bay. The beaches of Nice are very special. The beach is paved with pebbles. You can directly use your backpack as a pillow, lie on the coast, enjoy the luxurious sunbathing, and listen to the sound of the sea flowing through the cracks of the rocks as the tide hits the pebbles.Nice · 8.7 km from downtown

The English Promenade was built by the British colonists of Nice in 1822. The whole site is 5 kilometers away, next to the Bay of Angels, connecting Nice Airport and the Castle Hill. The avenue is adorned with palm trees all year round, and is lined with boutiques and luxury hotels on both sides. In the 19th century, a large number of Britons chose Nice's Bay of Angels as their holiday destination to escape the harsh winter. In 1820, Lewis Wei, an Englishman, initiated social fundraising and built the pedestrian street, which was only 2 meters wide at the time, into the current-scale avenue, and named "Anglais, the British" as the name of the avenue.Nice · 215m from downtown

Nice Castle Hill is located on a hill at the eastern end of the American Pier, 92 meters high, overlooking the old city of Nice and the Bay of Angels to the west, and overlooking the Port of Limbia to the east. The castle here has been destroyed in 1706, only the Bellanda Tower (TourBellanda) remains to this day, and it is still possible to imagine the momentum of the castle overlooking the coastline. The park features an 18th-century man-made waterfall and children's playground, making it a great spot for a picnic.Nice · 1.1 km from downtown

Among them, the FondationMaeght is a modern art museum famous for its various modern and contemporary art collections, such as Miro's labyrinth, Brie's fountain, Chagall's mosaics and so on. The St. Claire Road (ChemindeSainte-Claire) is located on the north side of the small town. The surrounding area is a good place to watch the panoramic view of the town. There is a small road in the town named after the philosopher Nietzsche, winding all the way from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain. From 1883 to 1886, Nietzsche came to live in Eze several times, and completed the third volume of his representative book "Thus Spoke Zarathoustra" here. It is said that when he was here, he liked to follow this winding path to the top of the mountain, from which he could sit and enjoy the unobstructed view of the mountains and seas of the Mediterranean Sea. Perhaps the reason why Eze was able to attract him is the "Nietzsche Trail" with its inner winding path!Eze · 8.3 km from Nice

Nice's Old Town is truly charming! The intricate network of alleyways feels like an adventure. Brightly colored houses line both sides, along with various interesting shops and delicious restaurants. Here, you can experience a rich Southern European atmosphere; it's incredibly romantic and perfect for a leisurely stroll and enjoying a relaxing time.

A Winter's Glow Over the Bay of Angels The winter glow of Nice is a visual feast not to be missed. At dawn, the Bay of Angels is covered with a thin layer of snow, its fine white sand and pebble beaches half pure white and half deep black. As the first rays of sunlight pierce through the clouds, the entire bay is instantly bathed in a warm orange-gold hue, the sea shimmering like it's been sprinkled with diamonds. The colorful old buildings, illuminated by the glow and snow, take on an oil painting-like quality. Warm yellow walls and pale pink roofs appear even more gentle under the snow, while the silhouettes of palm trees are outlined with graceful lines in the golden light. The waves gently lap against the shore, creating a soft, pattering sound, and together with the snow-covered Castle Hill in the distance, a breathtaking scene. This romance is not always available; the once-in-a-decade snowfall and the perfectly timed glow combine to create this uniquely Mediterranean gentleness. Standing on the streets of Anglo-Saxon, watching the golden sunlight gradually melt the snow, you'll understand that Nice's winter is more worthwhile than you might imagine.

The villa is surrounded by nine gardens, including French gardens, Spanish gardens, and Japanese dry landscape gardens… Walking through the gardens, you see the pink villa above, flowers below, and the boundless sea in the distance. This location is truly a viewpoint favored by God.

It happened to be winter when I went there, so there were almost no people on the beach. The sea water was not as blue as in summer, but the light blue hue was also unique. Although it is also close to the Mediterranean Sea, the sea breeze is much milder than that in Tel Aviv and Alexandria, Egypt, and the climate is mild and pleasant. No wonder Matisse went to Nice for recuperation in winter. This time there was a strike, and the city's transportation was on strike. I just walked around the old town and the beach, strolled on the English Promenade, and picked up stones on the beach. I could spend a whole day there.

The botanical garden on the top of the hill in the town of Eze was once a castle. It was destroyed by Louis XIV's army during the Spanish War in 1706, and the ruins of the castle became the current botanical garden. In the exotic botanical garden, hundreds of exotic plants are gathered, including: agave, aloe, cactus, etc. There are more than 400 varieties in total, mainly from America and Africa. In addition to these exotic flowers and plants, there are also many sculptures by French sculptor Jean Richard Philips.

The walk to the top of the hill can be completed within half an hour, which is rather comfortable and suitable for family travelers. There were some ruins of an ancient church and fortress. The panorama of Nice is also breathtaking for travelers. The visit could normally be completed within two hours.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a small mountain village between Nice and Cannes. It is surrounded by medieval walls, but it is a modern art sanctuary. It is said that Picasso loved this village very much. De Vence is close to the mountains and the sea, and its geographical location should be very important. The stone road in the village is winding, and medieval buildings are lined on both sides of the road. In the 16th century, France was invaded twice in the war with Italy. Therefore, in order to improve its low defense capabilities, the then French King François I, a patron of art and culture in the Renaissance, ordered the construction of strong walls and gates from 1543 to 1547. The city walls have been preserved to this day, and some military defense-style buildings can also be seen in the city.

In summer, come to the lotus pond to pick lotus pods. A wooden boardwalk has been built, allowing you to walk directly to the middle of the pond and pick the lotus pods without stepping in the mud. The large pods are within easy reach. Freshly picked lotus seeds are tender, white, sweet, and crisp; a bite is refreshingly sweet and not greasy. They're sold by weight, cheaper than at the market. Sitting by the boardwalk, slowly peeling them, the cool breeze blowing from the pond is delightful. They taste better than store-bought lotus seeds. Spending a leisurely afternoon there leaves you feeling refreshed, even your breath is filled with the fragrance of lotus blossoms.
