Since its maiden voyage in 1846, the Maid of the Mist has remained a classic way to experience Niagara Falls. The itinerary begins at the observation tower on the U.S. side, where travelers take an elevator down to the river valley dock. Before boarding, everyone receives a blue poncho, then steps onto the white double-deck cruise. The boat first glides past the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, where the cascading water creates a misty spray at arm's length. It then ventures into the horseshoe-shaped basin of Horseshoe Falls, surrounded by torrents of water rushing from three sides—thundering and mist-filled. Those on the deck soon get drenched, and a boatload of travelers clad in identical blue ponchos become companions sharing this misty adventure amid gasps and laughter. On sunny days, sunlight pierces through the mist, casting a long rainbow over the river valley that complements the nearby rainbow bridge. The entire voyage takes approx. 20 minutes. With no indoor cabin class on board, those wishing to stay drier can stand toward the rear of the lower deck. Before boarding, remember to secure your phone, hat, and other personal items—travel light and embrace this drenching yet exhilarating waterfall adventure.Niagara Falls · 2.7 km from downtown

American Falls is one of the components of Niagara Falls, which is one of the well-known landscapes in the United States and Canada. It is located on the border between the United States and Canada near Buffalo, New York, between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. The upstream water flowed to the cliff, and it rushed for thousands of miles. The height of more than 185 feet, coupled with the huge momentum of the torrent, washed out a 7-kilometer-long canyon. All of them were stunned, stunned, and deeply shocked by the explosive force of Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls actually consists of 3 parts, from large to small, in order: Horseshoe Falls (HorseshoeFalls)), American Falls (AmericanFalls) and Bridal Veil Falls (VeilofttheBrideFalls). Horseshoe Falls, located in Canada, is shaped like a horseshoe; American Falls is in the United States, separated by Goat Island; Bridal Veil Falls, also in the United States, is separated from the other two waterfalls by Moon Island. In fact, what you see in the United States is only the side of Niagara Falls, while in Canada you can see the whole picture.Niagara Falls · 2.9 km from downtown

It's cheaper than buying tickets on-site. After purchasing tickets online, you'll receive an email with a confirmation slip, which you can print out or show to the staff at the ticket office on your phone. The boat ride isn't crowded, and they provide raincoats. It offers a close-up experience of the falls and is highly recommended!

That's good. After buying tickets here in advance, you still need to wait for the ticket office to open at 9:00 AM to exchange them for your tickets. It's not much different from buying them on-site; you don't need to show your passport, just your reservation confirmation. Then you can go directly inside and wait for the boat to depart.
